Indoor Gardening
Niw this one of the best times to learn how to become partially or fully self sustainable when it comes to the food you eat.Living in urban areas, this tends to become a bit tricky.Apartments, condons and the like tend to have less space ina nd out doors to garden. But just staring some place, like growing your own herbs in doors is a start to knowing whete yoir food comes from and how it's handled. This book helps you get started on your indoor gardening journey; whether it herbs or big vegetables, fully or partially self sustaning- this is a good beginners guide to getting the equipment and learning the basics of what you'll need to start your journeys.

I learned a lot
There is a lot of information about indoor gardening to be found in this book. There are basic gardening principles and it advises you to start small. I like that it shows the types of indoor gardens and helps with planning. For example, you'll learn about lighting, temperatures, and air flow for your garden. There's a list of the types of edible plants you can grow and which ones will do well indoors. It goes over planting, fertilizing, maintaining and harvesting and even lists an index of vegetables!

Useful guide to start a garden
A lot of us do not have a ton of space to garden, and as the author points out that is where container gardens step in. Most everyone can work a container garden no matter the size of their space. I liked that the author has a section on the absolute essential tools you need to garden. This keeps me focused and bor buying unnecessary junk. Overall, I found this a helpful guide to get going on container gardening.

Love the idea!
I absolutely love the idea of having an indoor vegetable garden, although I'm not sure how realistic it is with pets. But if you're interested, definitely read this book and it will help you start your garden!

If you’re looking to learn about indoor gardening, look elsewhere!
I have never written an Amazon review before, but this book was so terrible I am doing it now.It seems like it was translated from a different language, which made it very awkward to read. Using context, I know what they are *trying* to say, but the words written do not make sense. For example “Micro-tip pruning shears make short paintings of greater sensitive obligations, such as harvesting tomatoes, small peppers, and herbs.” I know they are trying to say micro-tip prying shears make short work of delicate jobs...but the writing is SO garbled and disjointed, it is painful to read. There are a ton of misused synonyms and translated type errors throughout the book that make no sense. “Choose re-salable zip-lock luggage bags to be used, season after season.” See more examples of the writing quality in the attached photos.Several pages on content were repeated word for word twice in the book pgs 71-75 are repeated with different layout on pages 81-87. Spoiler alert: those paragraphs weren’t useful the first time, so including the exact same info twice is not any more helpful. The book hops around between outdoor growing and indoor growing, but not in helpful comparative way, more in a random information dump way. Very little is actually about indoor growing.I would expect a book titled “Indoor Vegetable Gardening” to focus on indoor vegetable gardening, including pitfalls to avoid, ways to increase yield, actual information on lighting beyond telling you to Google it, and give a person new to indoor growing a basic foundation for success. This book does none of those things.A very disappointing purchase.
