Nice small scan tool to keep in your vehicle. Menus are quick and easy enough to navigate and it comes with all the functions you’d expect from a basic ob2 reader. Can check codes, clear codes, and view live data. Comes with a carry case too to hold the scanner and cables for the battery tester. Only downside is not being wireless but for the cost and use case it’s worth keeping one in your vehicle!

This thing's great: clears codes in my car with no problem at all -- in fact, if the car throws a fault while I'm driving it, the passenger can clear the code on the fly -- and it gives quite intelligent suggestions as to what might be causing faults (e.g. "Faulty MAP sensor or leaky intake manifold gasket"). The buttons are a bit strange: you'd think the Select or Confirm or Enter button would be the big one in the middle, but it isn't: it's the little one over in the corner -- took a minute to figure that out -- but having done so, I had no problems with the user interface or the embedded function set, which is richer than anything I'm realistically ever going to need.

It works well. It doesn't have a crankshaft position sensor relearn procedure which i needed. The nt501 is the one I needed. I should've double checked my choice.
