Why did you choose this product over others?: I have purchased a few magic gel pro packs before but with my Shin Splints flaring up I made the decision to buy these ones that can wrap round my shins easily. I have only used these for cold rather than heating them up. The fact you can buy the ice packs, cryoball and a resistance band, gives you all you need to tackle your shin splints. The guidance book you get is detailed to show effective ways to help reduce shin splints. Overall, I am very pleased with the Hot and Cold Packs by Magic Gel. They offer excellent quality, versatility, and ease of use, making them a reliable solution for pain relief and recovery. I highly recommend these packs to anyone looking for an effective and convenient way to manage aches and pains.

I wish I'd bought this years ago! I guess I was resistant to spending so much on a ice pack and stuck with the small flimsy wrap I'd been using for years. This is so superior to any other pack, it was worth every pence. What I like best is that the ice pack itself is divided into compartments to maintain a fairly even distribution of gel throughout the pack (though this could be improved even further). I stick the whole thing in the freezer and it's fine - no need to remove and replace pack itself. A spare ice pack comes with it, though I'd prefer it didn't just to bring price down a bit. The wrap is also large, soft, can be walked in, and will fit anyone since the velcro sticks to every inch of the wrap. I'm petite and I do wonder if that is why I can't quite get a super tight fit - or maybe it's that my freezer is too cold; I usually leave this out for 5 min before putting on my skin to ensure that it is soft enough to fit closely. I may just need to readjust straps better for a closer fit. Overall, highly highly recommend. I hope this product takes off more and that higher volume of sales gradually brings the price down a bit.

I started running over a year ago and for around 9 months i'd been suffering with shin splints badly. I purchased some sorbothane insoles which have also helped me massively, even with shin splints I can run somewhat comfortably in them I got this product to further my quest in getting rid of the dreaded shin splints. I did actually follow the instructions (which aren't 100% clear with regards to repetitions of stretches and exercises) and I saw improvement after about 2 weeks, the comfort that comes after icing my calves while raised and masaging is particularly good The exercises I feel were also necesary long term so don't skip them I could probably leave the cryo ball, it doesn't move particularly well in its holder and tugs on my leg hairs occasionally, I think I get a better massage using my hands. Although it does get a surprising amount of cold into your legs, I still use it for this reason but there is probably better versions if you're thinking of getting it just for the ball I will also add when I was buying I saw lots of reviews saying the ice packs leaked, I've had no issues so far after 2 months of freezing and thawing. I noticed in some of the pictures they were orange plastic bag looking type things, what I recieved were blue material stitched around the edges with heavy duty velcro straps, I imagine there is still a plastic bag in there though. 1 thought with the leaking, perhaps people are trying to bend the ice packs to the shape of their leg straight out of the freezer and breaking the pack? I strap them to my leg as they are and they generally wrap around as they thaw a bit, or just freeze them in more of a curved shape

This thing is huge - it does not wrap around my knee like in the picture - it just slips down (even over clothing). I can however use it more like a blanket over both knees!

Simple and easy to use and very effective. Comes with a freezer bag for storage and are fastened with the velcro straps so you can adjust how tight or loose you want them. I've got two of these and have used them on my knees and shins with no issues. I let them sit in the freezer for 24 hours before using them. Very effective for pain relief. They stay cold for no more than 20mins but that is sufficient. They also have a soft lining side against the skin so you don't get ice burns. Very happy with the product.

After suffering shin splints and trying insoles, correct trainers, etc I discovered these purpose made ice packs. Instantly after the 1st use the pain went away. I used the massage ball as instructed along with the stretching band and so far things are moving in the right place. I have managed to exercise at the gym and I can see the benefit. I would strongly recommend this product, great value, perfect fit and happy so far. No more trying to hold ice packs in place as these have elastic straps to hold in place on your shins. Aftercare has also been great from this seller.

Magic Gel Impacco Ghiaccio Gel Modello AGHX12 è un prodotto che ho acquistato per un problema dovuto ad eccessivo sforzo sul ginocchio e mi ha dato sollievo. Amazon avvisa che arriva dentro una confezione trasparente e che si può chiedere di riceverlo dentro un pacco che ne nasconda il contenuto. La fascia è robusta, pesante e ben rifinita, gradevole al tatto sia nella parte esterna impermeabile sia nella parte interna, morbida e da appoggiare sul sulla pelle. È piuttosto grande, si adatta relativamente bene al ginocchio quando si curva e fa qualche grinza, come è normale essendo un grosso rettangolo spesso con delle strisce per agganciarlo alla gamba gradevolmente elastiche e non troppo fastidiose dietro il ginocchio. Con la gamba tesa è comoda, piegata si sente la presenza, va allentato un pó. È da considerare l'ingombro nel freezer come fosse un maglioncino leggero da donna ripiegato. È una buona idea metterlo nel congelatore all'interno di una plastica in modo che non si sporchi e non assorba gli odori. Le istruzioni indicano di tenerlo in freezer almeno tre ore, contrariamente alle immagini su amazon dove è indicato 1,5-2 ore. La flessibilità dopo tre ore è scarsa, ovviamente, bisogna attendere alcuni minuti prima di poterla indossare e per me è troppo fredda, preferisco tenerla in freezer 2 ore, ma è soggettivo. Si forma la condensa nella parte impermeabile, come è normale. Io risolvo asciugando le gocce con un panno, ci vuole un attimo. La consiglio

Ich habe mich für den Kauf der Schienbein Kühlpads entschieden, da ich Kickboxer sind und nach dem Training häufig mit lädierten Schienbeinen zu tun habe. Wer das einmal erlebt hat, weiß wie lange eine vollständige Heilung dauern kann. Mit diesen Kühlpads jedoch wird die Heilungsphase deutlich beschleunigt. Ich benutze Sie kalt und nach dem Training. Die Pads kühlen angenehm und sitzen perfekt am Schienbein. Nach rund 30 Minuten nehme ich Sie ab und wiederhole die Prozedur dann jeden Abend. Nach ca. 3 Tagen habe ich kaum noch Probleme, selbst eine Schienbeinabhärtung im Gym ist dann wieder möglich. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis finde ich, wie bei den meisten Produkten von Orange Physio super. Das Produkt ist hochwertig verarbeitet und sitzt enganliegend am Bein. Durch den Klettverschluss müssten die Pads für jede Dicke geeignet sein. Die Kanten des Plastiks sind abgerundet, damit sie nicht in die Haut schneiden oder kratzen. Das einzige was mir negativ aufgefallen ist: Die Gebrauchsanweisung spricht nur von einer Aufwärmung mit Mikrowelle, ich habe jedoch keine. Aber darüber lässt sich natürlich hinwegsehen. Klare Kaufempfehlung meinerseits.
