These rave reviews dont seem to be genuine to me because this bed is very I mean very thin and second I wouldnt want my sweetheart to use such uncomfortable bed where the middle part is soooo raised.. I will give it a week to flatten ( as I may take the thickness but not this raised uncomfortable ridge which is caused by very prolonged wrong packing) else will call Amazon customer care to return this item. as I do not see free prime return on this faulty item. What a shame I was soooo looking forward for this bed for my golden doodle and I went for XL.UPDATE : I CHANGED MY RATING FROM 1 STAR TO 5 STARS! Within less than 24 hrs the middle ridge or crease is gone. And bed is laying absolutely flat on the ground and it's no longer thing as the time of arrival.. puppy is going to his new bed and more importantly I have my mental peace that its a beautiful and comfortable bed!! I m sorry I didn't give it a chance and just simply jumped the gun .

I bought these 2 years ago and were fantastic, just bought 2 more and cannot believe the new quality of the product. The mattress was supposed to be 3" tall and it was only 1" my dog was in the floor by the time he tried to lay down.

This is a great dog bed! It's thick, sturdy, nicely made & comfortable! It has a thin fabric-ish lining between the bed & removable fabric. It has nice sides, which also are able to be removed. This bed was greatly made except I wish the biggest removable part of this -THE BED- was protected & waterproof; however, I just threw the foam into a garbage bag then put all the material back on & boom. It’s water proof now lol The breakdown of this dog bed makes it washer friendly.Again, the only downside of this dog bed is the bottom part, the actual bed, is NOT waterproof (which I thought it was). So if you're in the middle of potty training or have geriatric dogs, this would be a good bed for them because it's thick & soft, but the bottom absorbs liquids. That's why I put mine into a garbage bag & put it back together. We don't hear any noise from the bag as they lay on the bed or play on the bed

This is bed number four (4) and we finally found the perfect puppy bed. Our golden doodle is a big boy at 4 months. One bed looked like the Rocky Mountains after one wash. All the stuffing was bunched up on one end and lumps all over. One resembled a giant crater that was flat in the middle with high walls. One XL bed only had room for 1/2 of the dog. This bed is spacious, firm, but not hard, comfy cover and bumpers, and room for Jack to stretch out! Great purchase!

Nice dog bed! As you can see, my 75lb German Shepherd loves it! It’s difficult to tell in the photo as my dog is lying near the end of the bed, but he’s got plenty of room. It’s bigger than it looks! We got the bed about an hour before the photo was taken. Initially the foam appeared very thin as it was vacuum-sealed, but I unpacked it and let the foam expand for an hour before letting my dog try it out. I’m going to let it expand for a few more hours still before he gets it to sleep on tonight. Great buy!

My old dog is 13 and is now blind and he loves this bed. It's become his safe spot. Super soft and comfy (i was a little jealous when I stepped on it). He refused to get up from it the entire first day he had it...also, the company accidentally sent me 2 so I have a back up in case something happens to this one. But its much sturdier than any Walmart dog beds ive gotten him over the years and the washable cover is very easy, no loose stuffing to take out and deal with. Just one huge foam piece and the washable zippered soft cover. Very pleased with this purchase!
