Professional Insect and Butterfly Net with 14" Ring, 26" Net Depth, 59" Telescopic Handle Full Extends to 73" Stainless Lockable

I use butterfly nets around my house to swoop up the occasional insect and take them outside to set free. I needed to replace one of my nets, and decided to get this one. It's great! It's very solid and well made. Putting it together was easy. I love the long adjustable handle, as often a critter will be on the ceiling and this enables me to scoop it up easily. Five stars!

Where I live, there are beautiful insects and spiders. Notably, the Eastern Tiger swallowtail and recently introduced, the gorgeous Joro spider. I like to observe these and others. Anyone who knows the Joro spider knows that sometimes, the webs are inconveniently in front of porches and decks. A gentle removal is required. This is the net I use. It telescopes so I can reach far. The net is wide enough for my purposes and strong to manage the brush in the backyard woods. It is light, so a one-handed reach is easy. Note: Do not use this for fish. This is a big upgrade from the one I had as a kid that I bought at the Ben Franklin. So far, I am pleased and fully recommend this net. Anthony Trendl

I was hoping for something a bit more solid, but this gets the job done, and it is being used for a college assignment. If you are looking for a net that is very solid, this might not be it. Nonetheless, I am satisfied, and the price was reasonable.

Especially when considering the price, this net is sturdy even when extended (just don't fully extend it or let a kid swing it around. It says Professional! I see a lot of reviews about kids breaking them). The materials used for the netting were strong enough for me to not only capture a chipmunk that ran into one of my gutters, but also held up to his clawing and biting while he was trying to climb out without leaving a single hole in the netting! He was in this net for about 5 min, I wanted to walk a good distance from my house to release him. A quick rinse and the net is ready for next use! Remember, this is an insect net, not a rodent net, that's why I am so impressed. I challenge anyone to catch an insect bigger than a chipmunk haha

Love the design, feels sturdy even completely extended. If you ever sell a square or triangle shape I would buy that too since it will work better for retrieving birds from shop ceilings. Very happy with this purchase.

From time to time I get a butterfly or dragonfly that gets into my screen pool area. I wanted something to catch them without harming them. This works perfect. It's very light and the telescoping works great.

I bought this net as a gift for my daughter’s birthday. She LOVES catching bugs to observe, identity and study (before releasing them). I wanted to upgrade her current net (also a Restcloud) and get a deeper one with smaller mesh and a longer handle. We’ve been very happy with Restcloud items we’ve previously purchased, so they were the obvious choice when I decided to buy a new net. My daughter was absolutely thrilled when she opened the net on her birthday - couldn’t wait to get outside and break it in! Unfortunately –and quite unexpectedly– the handle snapped the first time she used it. It was upsetting for us both and really put a damper on her day. I’m quite disappointed to say the least. I ordered it a bit early to ensure it was here on time for her birthday, and the return window ended yesterday, so I’m out the money and my daughter doesn’t have a new "upgraded" net. Das Schmetterlingsnetz ist sehr stabil und brauchbar, habe eine Lithophane socia damit gefangen. Die Netztiefe könnte ein wenig tiefer sein. Preis Leistungsverhältnis passt sehr gut.

Used to net monarch butterflies for tagging Net needs to be about 4-6 inches longer. Otherwise works well.

Beautiful product but the durability is weak. The metal frame for the net broke within a month.
