I purchased this to replace the original pump on my Simpson pressure washer which was almost new. The pump works great and is the same as on the original pressure washer. I would caution that the pump works great as long as the water is turned on. The pump is of a very good quality but has plastic valves - if the water stops the pump heats up very quickly and the plastic valves just melt and the pump no longer functions. This was my experience - the water stopped and the valves melted. I purchased the entire pump since just the valve portion was not available.

I am very happy with the bluetooth so far. Had it for 3 weeks. It alerts when you walk away from your phone when connected. It warns low battery. Great stereo sound. I wish it had a last number call back feature. USB port is at top. If this comes loose, or open, rain might enter.

Replaced my pump from my old DeWalt. Runs like new now.

It was nearly six months after I purchased this before I got around to changing it out. My Simpson Power Washer was new and I had used it only one time in fall. I tried to clear out the water in the pump when I was done and put it away, but I did not use the antifreeze kit that is small pressure can and that cost me the pump. The next time I went to use it, the winter cold had frozen remaining water in the pump and that made it totally ineffective and lost all pressure. I was pleased to find this and ordered it. The repair shop wanted close to $250 to examine the unit and I had to drive an hour just to drop it off so this replacement part was a much more desireable option. I didn't know what to expect until I replaced it. It took me less than 10 minutes to put the new pump on. Four bolts and the original slid off the keyed shaft, I then slid the new pump on the shaft with attention to aligning it to the key and tightened up the bolts and done! Totally repaired and very happy with this part and ease of repair.

I bought this to replace a pump that would not allow water to flow through my pressure washer pump when connected to a water source prior to starting the engine. My old unit was in storage for about a year or so. This pump arrived in bomb proof packaging and I had high hopes that it would suit my needs. It did not, so I called the customer service number included with the pump to figure out what could be the issue. As I told the customer service rep from AAA when she informed me that she had no way of knowing what shape my new pump was in when I received it as I didn’t buy it from them directly, “ this could have been delivered to me by dropping it out of an airplane and it would have been just fine”. Unfortunately, it had the exact same issue as my old unit ; when connected to the hose, prior to starting the pressure washer, no water would flow through the pump. So I called the customer service number included with the replacement pump to find out if there was any possibilities that I was some how doing something wrong. The rep asked me if I had installed the pump already. My reply was that I couldn’t know it was defective unless I installed it. She told me that immediately voided the warranty! ??? I explained that I was only looking for technical info as to why a brand new pump would fail in the same manner as the old seized pump, again thinking the problem would some how be something I was doing in error. The rep refused to offer any suggestions other than to pay out of pocket at one of their service centers as I had voided the warranty by actually installing it myself. Why sell to the public if they can’t do the install? Never found out what the issue was with the new pump as I was able to fix the old one with a few careful taps from a hammer. Thank goodness for amazons generous return policy as this is not a cheap item.

This pump is identical to my original pump. It was very easy to install and after running it for about 15 minutes, I was very pleased with the amount of pressure that the pump produced.
