Good taste, lots of black bean flavor. Quantity of steak pieces varied from adequate to where is the meat. I probably won't purchase again

I am a complete anti-microwaved meal customer. I find them overpriced and not really that healthy. I recently was turned on to the Evol Grilled Steak Bowl and I can honestly say it is probably one of the best frozen meals I've had in a long time. I love this bowl because it is all natural, you can actually read every single ingredient on the nutrition label. It is gluten free which is important for someone like me with Celiac Disease. It also has 20 grams of protein and only 400 calories which is great for a complete and filling lunch meal. The steak is super tender and the cilantro pesto is so yummy! This is not your typical $2-3 frozen meal, look to spend $5-6 on this brand but its worth it, you don't feel like you are eating processed, artificial ingredients.

I buy these at my local grocer and have them for lunch at work. Overall I'm satisfied. They fit into a keto-ish eating plan fairly well. However, for me, they are heavy on the cilantro. I like cilantro just fine, never complain about it in Mexican restaurants, but these bowls are very heavy on it to the point of being overpowering. Fortunately when the bowls are assembled, the cilantro is just plopped on top so it is easy to get rid of a lot of it before I eat.

This is a very balanced and tasty frozen meal. It has a wonderful taste and I buy in bulk wherever I can find it. Besides the rice, beans, steak and peppers, it has a sensational blend of cheese, cilantro and lime finish that grants the meal a rich and delicious flavor. Evol, you have a winner!! Congrats!

but check you local super markets price. They are ~3 dollars a piece at my local stores. Taste wise though they are the best microwave meal I have had in a long while.

I'm eating one right now. If you like Chipotle, you should love this. Needs more steak tho :)

Over $98 for a pack of 12? What's going on here? I just bought a 4 pack at Costco for $11.99, and I'll say they are amazing tasting. On the product alone, they deserve 5 stars, but what is going on with this price? This computes out to over $8.00 per bowl, which is insane.

This price is almost three times the product's cost at Target (at around $3 per bowl). The food is great, but save your money.
