But, the main reason I wanted one is because it can keep your RV up to 20 degrees cooler! This is a huge deal being that we live in Florida and keeping the RV cool is tough. The install took me less than 2 minutes!! Easy peasy and I love how it looks!

For me personally my rv door window doesn't have screws so my husband had to drill holes to make it work. I probably wouldn't have ordered if I had realized that but it was my oversight not checking to see before I ordered. Even with the slightly more involved install I would definitely recommend this shade. It truly lets no light through! It's a great value for a high quality product!

I debated between this and the pull down shade for weeks. What a waste of time. Lol. This shade is perfect and was super easy to install. The window to our RV door is frosted anyway, so it’s not like we can see out of it and thus? Had no reason to raise or lower it. Not to mention, we have a screen door that wouldn’t allow us to raise it anyway without opening both doors. My RV didn’t have screw holes, so I drilled a small pilot hole and used the self tapping screws this came with. Less than 10 minutes I had JT up. It also comes with Velcro strips to hold down the sides tight. My only regret is that I didn’t buy this sooner.

This is a great item. We had been looking for something to block the light on our RV. We have a Bushwacker Plus (a small drop style RV). I found this on Amazon and bought it as a surprise for my husband after a trip that required sleeping at a rest stop with tall street lights that were on all night long. I measured and remeasured to make sure this would fit and it was close. I thought it would be a little too big and gappy, but it fits almost perfectly. My husband went out today to put it in the RV and came right back in the house. I thought, uh oh, but nope, it was installed that quick. 5 minutes! You literally take out the 4 corner screws (from your RV inside main door) and replace them with the enclosed ones they give you that have an attached snap on it and you are done. The other side of the snap is on the black part. It snaps on and off very easily. It blocks all of the light that would come through the door window. The black part feels almost like a heavy neoprene fabric. It is edged with a woven heavy trim. The snaps are substantial and they give you extras. We plan to just unsnap the top snaps and let it hang down when we want to let light in, so it doesn't get lost or damaged. There are other reviews that people posted that had to drill their own holes because their door didn't have corner screws and it looked fairly simple. So, if that is the case for you, check out some of those reviews (with videos). I would not hesitate one minute to buy another one of these. Well worth the $21. I highly recommend this to anyone who stays overnight at rest stops with lots of light or parking lots that allow RV's.

I have a 2013 Keystone Passport. I measured and measured and measured, and this product came the 'closest' to a perfect fit. The material stretches enough to fit snuggly. I replaced 4 door screws with the screws provided. Install was just a few minutes. The cover provides 'blackout' for the door in my RV. Would recommend.

Window shade for standard RV door. This was installed on my Keystone Passport 197RB.PROSEasy install. Removed four corner screws and installed four included/sized corner screws/snapsVery opaque; cuts light nicely.Easy to put up and take down.Big improvement over hanging a towel over the doorway.CONSSized about 1/2" too wide to stretch and make a neat installation; sags at the top and wrinkles at the bottom. Oversize allows light leakage past the wrinkles.You will need a #2 square tip screwdriver to remove existing corner screws and a standard Philips tip for install.Does come with extra male snaps, which I think can be installed in additional, existing screw holes and extra female snaps which could be installed into the shade. May have to add some snaps to pull this out a bit.

The 2 sizes of screws that came with this are too long & way to short. You can also use your own screw & slide on one of the caps they provide however then my screw was too short to stay in. I ended up using their long screw & just not screwing it in all the way. If i would have it would have busted my trim on the outside of the door. It is that much longer than my original screw. The black fabric doesn't fit tight on my window so some sun will come in on the sides & I'm wonderingif it will stretch out over time. I love the concept of this working because I was over the foil looking cover that sticks with velcro but I believe this company charges double the price because they include so much hardware that isn't necessary.

Super easy to install. Take out four corner screws on the inside of the door window and replace with the included “snap” screws. 2 lengths are included and use whichever fits due to the thickness of your door. Keeps things darker for sleeping and cooler in the summer. We couldn’t see out our frosted window anyway, so we leave this on all the time. Good replacement for our roll down shade. Just 4 snaps to pop off if you want more light in the rv. Eventually, we might want to replace the frosted window with clear glass and then it might be a little inconvenience to take this on and off a lot. For now, it works great. Remember to measure to make sure this will fit.

Before these handy dandy window covering I tried valcro, tape, hand towels, pillow cases and nothing worked long enough to brag about.I bought two of these. One for my main door and my bathroom door. Privacy foe the bathroom and shade for the early morons sunrises and heat.I wished they had these for the tiny bunk bed windows.Fits perfect and was super easy to install. Took me less than 5 min to install.

Awesome window cover, blocks all light. Shipping said 2-3 weeks but came in 1 week. My trailer door window did not have the 4 screws so I just drilled 4 small holes and let the provided self tappers do the rest, super easy install, only took about 5 mins.

Perfect! Love it. Haven’t had to use it yet but fits great and looks really nice.
