V60 ThinQ Dual Screen Front Glass Replacement for LG V60 ThinQ V605N Dual Screen Case Front Glass Replacement W/Tape+Tools (V60)

I am NOT a repair type guy; after watching the video, I decided to order the V60 ThinQ Dual Screen Front Glass Replacement for LG V60 ThinQ V605N Dual Screen Case from this seller. I could not be more pleased. The video was straightforward: Heat the screen, I just used a blow dryer on high heat. I did this for about 2 minutes and used a small triangular "pick" type tool. There were far more tools in the package then needed. Using the pick tool, after heating, I was easily able to remove the old glass. As you can see, my old glass was completely shattered so I had to go very slowly or glass would have gone everywhere. After removal of the glass, I used the tools to remove the extra glue strips, any glass fragments and to make sure the area I was going to place the new glass was free of debris. Then I CAREFULLY lined up the new glass and could see it would easily fit! I pulled off the glass protector and the glue covered lining on the new glass, pressed it in the slots and amazingly, I had NEW glass on my front dual screen. It could not have been any easier. Folks: Order this product if you have a broken glass; it really is this easy to replace the front screen :)

I cracked front glass on my dual case at work. I ordered a replacement and replaced the day. The does with an X-Acto knife, but I do not recommend using it except to lift the glass initially. There is a ribbon cable in top left/center of the device and using the knife risks accidentally damaging it. Use the long plastic prying spudger tool instead. Once I got under the glass, it lifted without cracking and even removed most of the adhesive. I didn't use any heat to remove the display.

Good fit and finish, not sure if it's the same manufacturer as the oem front panel, but looks identical. Easy to install.

My son accidently cracked my front screen. Getting a replacement screen was a LOT cheaper than replacing the whole dual screen. I was given a lot of tools to fit it myself. Some instructions would have been nice but a simple Goofle search helped me. I was able to switch it out in about 4 minutes total. Very simple fix.. Thank You!

The LG front glass screens crack. Hard as glass means cracks like glass. It is not the original screen, but looks just like the original and fits perfectly. It is also less expensive than most of the other screens on Amazon. It includes more tools than you need to remove and replace the old screen. The major issue some have raised is that it has no instructions. However, even without instructions, it is easy to find out how to replace the glass. I did it before I bought the screen. All you have to do is google how to replace the front screen on the LG V60 case. 1) Use a hair drier for two to three minutes to soften up the glue that is used to stick the screen to the case. 2) Use the included tools to pry the cracked screen off. 3) wipe the surface of the case to clean off any remaining glue. 4) Pull the tape off of the new screen (both where front window is and around edges of glass. 5) carefully place new screen in place and push in. 6) Use hairdryer for 15 - 30 seconds to soften new glue. 7) push in place and clean as necessary.
