“Why didn’t I think of that!” See ya cheesecloth! There's a new kid on the block :)
This is one of those product you see and think, “Why didn’t I think of that!”When I want the flavor of fresh herbs in my dish, but don’t necessarily want the herbs themselves in there, I usually use cheesecloth. This is so much easier to use and it works great. This is perfect for when you’re cooking corned beef. Put that little package of spices inside this infuser and you’ll have no problem finding it when you’re done cooking. (My Hubby hates the bay leaf and all those little coriander seeds on his corned beef. This infuser takes care of that! )The infuser is two pieces of plastic that “lock” together to form a vented infuser. You place your fresh herbs or spices into it, "lock" it, and place into your pot or slow cooker. When you’re done cooking your meal, remove the infuser, empty it and wash. It cleans up easily with a brush to get the little bits that may stay behind after shaking it out over the garbage can. This is a great product that is unique and a problem solver. Good job Klipy!I received this herb infuser at a discount for my honest review

Works well, interesting idea
This is a rather good idea, you're u open the klipy herb infuser, place your herbs into it and Place it in the pot with your soup or stews. It infuses the herbs into your food without leaving bits in the broth. I love cooking with herbs but some herbs like rosemary and thyme have stems that are twig like, not pleasant in your bowl of soup. With this you get the flavor without the sticks and leaves that you would want to pick out, before serving. This is made of thin plastic, so its not very sturdy, but it does work well. I have made chicken soup using it so far, put my dill in it, and my rosemary and thyme too. (Mostly dill though) with the blizzard possably hitting this weekend I have stuff to do make soup and stew this weekend, if we get snowed in I'm ready to cook! I did get this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

The unique design really makes its a winner!
I was really excited to gt my new kilpy herb infuser! It came well packed and exactly as shown in the same tank color. its a good size it is about 4 inche long, and the narrow part is like an umbrella handle size. Its was a bit bigger then I expected but that was a good thing. The plastic it is made of is smooth and feels sturdy. I made a lot of soups, stocks and stews so this is exactly what I was looking for. I have used metal mesh ones before and those dont work to well because although it does hold small size herbs and seasoning it really doesn't allow enough water to get into it during the cooking process since I will leave it in a slow cooker and I'm not regularly stirring it.This one is really uniquely design I wasn't sure at first why the middle stuck out, but I definitely get it now. It allows me to fill it up more and still giving it more surface area at the same time so it infuses well while cooking. It did include on the tag "put spices and herbs inside the infused and plunge it into the pot or dish to enjoy the taste" and on the back of the tag it lists caution: do not put in the oven, do not put in direct flame, so not use in pots or pans without water or other liquid, please wash before first use. I wished it had mention it can go in a slow cooker.Regardless I assumed it could probably go into a slow cooker as long as there is enough liquid to cover it. I put in my slowcooker to make soup. I was able to put cloves or garlic, bay leaves, celery (for flavor I dont like the texture to actually eat) and even some shallots and so fresh grown herbs too. It really fit a lot! The slits are big enough to put a coin through it so small dried crushed herbs would likely not stay in it. But things like fresh rosemary, sage, thyme, parsley that would work really well in it. I love that when it was done I was easily able to spot it and grab it out with tongs easy. Does take a few tries to figure how to tetris everything in it and close it at the same time.I also did receive emails from the seller to make sure I knew the product was on its way and to contact them if I had any questions or issues.I would highly recommend this herb infuser! This product was provided at a discounted price in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. Regardless that I'm asked to review a product all my opinion are completely my own! I always read other reviews before purchasing any product myself and rely on them myself. If there is a product that I find is not 5 stars I will always contact the seller first to see if the issue can be resolved, and will note this. I've been really fortunate I have only had a few handfuls of products to date that have been not turned out great. I will also like to note I generally am allowed to choose what I pick to product test so more often then not these are products I'm looking forward to testing or already thinking of purchasing. Therefore less likely to be disappointed. That being said if you check my reviews I have not been shy to rate any product less then 5 including the lowest rating if it is warranted. Also if you have any questions on a product I have purchased and review feel free to ask =)**If you found this review helpful, please vote by replying Yes to 'Was this review helpful' *
