Read the instructions !
This unit 's operation is not very intuitive. Read The Instructions - If you follow those, it will work. Although I had hoped that the cartridges would fully insert into my 8-shot, .22 LR revolver cylinders before releasing them - It is a workable situation, though. Unfortunately, Free Prime shipping does not apply when purchasing a bundle of two (2) of these. Four stars for not fully inserting in .22LR and shipping cost. Otherwise, I would have bought a second bundle of two (2). I did tie White zipper pulls to the removeable covers and that seems to work to get them off quickly. These units are made of plastic so no idea about how long they will last.

Compatible with the LCR, works great.
There are only 3 LCR rapid loaders that I could find, and this one is the cheapest, so I was braced for it being low quality. But it turned out to be high quality. It's the one and only design that has the "pod" cover to protect the rounds if you keep it in your pocket, and I have tested in hundreds of times, it works great. I don't see why anyone would consider those other 2 options which are more expensive and lact the protective pod cover.

Easy to Draw
With the small loop at the bottom of the pod I've had a easy time drawing the loader alone when practicing reloads. I've use paracord and keychain rings to tie the ammo pod to a belt loop or a small loop I have inside my jeans. The ammo pod retains the loader well unless pulled. In one of my images you can see it stays together when held upside down. I want to note you can hear the rounds wiggle if you shake the loader since I know some people dislike that. I don't believe this type of loader works with range blocks. You need to press a button that is between the loose rounds, once they are put in, to lock them in. I feel certain this loader won't accidentally loosen rounds while in my pocket and the draw is quick if you tether the pod. The loader fits the LCR cylinder perfectly. I've bought loaders that cost thrice as much that don't keep loaded as well in a pocket. I'm buying more.

Pretty Good
Just got this for my LCR (.22LR) and am so far impressed. There's really only a couple choices in the 8 shot LCR world and I thought I'd try this first. Easy to load, easy to use with just a push on the cylinder. Rounds are a little wobbly but not bad and seem to be held firm enough to find their way home into the charging holes. I did add a bit of grip tape as another user suggested to make holding the loader a little more sure. The one part I do like is the "pod" cover. This gives a bit of protection for the rounds if you were just dropping this in the pocket or attaching it to some sort of lanyard. I suppose you could even wear it around your neck if you were hiking and wanted a convenient reload. I don't know what the long term reliability will be since it's just plastic but I think it's decent. I'd like to see it at the $10 price point because just a few bucks more you're into 5-Star aluminum loaders.
