Good looking, sturdy , easy to clean , seems to be durable. I like that it is roomy , but the best part is the container for hoot food, it keeps food warm until my son's lunch time ( I prepare it around 7:30 am and it is warm and perfect to eat at 12:00 ) , also it easy to open/ close for my son, ( he is first grade )

The OmieBox Bento Box has been such a great investment for my kindergartener, who is also a very picky eater. What I love most is the insulated compartment that keeps hot foods warm until lunchtime. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can pack his favorites—like pasta, rice, or even soup—without worrying they’ll be cold by the time he eats.My son was so excited when he first got it, and he actually looks forward to opening his lunch every day. The different compartments make it easy to pack a variety of foods, so I can balance hot meals with fruits, snacks, or small treats in one box. The design is sturdy, leak-proof, and simple enough for him to open and close by himself, which is important at his age.As a parent of a picky eater, this box has really made lunchtime less stressful. I know he’s eating foods he enjoys, and it has encouraged him to try a few new things since they’re presented in a fun, organized way.Overall, the OmieBox is high-quality, practical, and kid-friendly. Great lunch box!!! This is our 2nd omiebox and we love it. The sections and thermos are great!!! The thermos is easy for my small kindergartner to open and she loves the colors. It’s very easy to clean and seems leak proof. The thermos keeps her food pretty warm until lunchtime. The box seems pretty durable but we just got this one and our 1st one we’ve only had for a week. This was a great buy!!!

This lunchbox is a must have for a summer of mom adventures with little ones. Easy to pack a variety of snacks, option to have hot food with the thermos and it opens and sits perfectly for a quick snack on the beach. Very durable, has fallen off our fridge more than once, and very easy to clean.

As a long-time bento box enthusiast, packing bento lunches for my kid was something I was looking forward to. Well...the day has finally come and he needs to take a lunch and two snacks to daycare. I'm specifically reviewing this for a pre-schooler as that's the only one who uses this bento. I prefer all-in-one style bentos for young children since there's less to lose and the teachers/daycare workers don't have to open a million little containers so I figured I'd order this one and see how it stacked up. For the record, this is my third favorite style of the seven different types of Bentos I own. I'll add my ranking to the bottom of the review.Size: The size is good. I don't know why people rag on the weight/size for this review for young kids - my kid takes it to school, leaves it on a shelf until lunch, and then takes it home. He's not carting it around every hour of the day. I can pack enough food for him that he is not hungry and while it is heavy, it's not any heavier than any other bento box we use.Flexibility for Bento-Style Food Prep: We do a mix of western and asian bento food. I really like this one for both. I dare not send soup to daycare (I'd like to stay on their good side :) )so we haven't tried that yet, but it does keep things like pasta or nuggets warm until lunch. I pack the bento around 6:30 AM. Does it do as well as my Zojurushi Ms. Bento (The gold standard of bentos, in my opinion...that's the one I use for myself.) No. Does it need to? Not really. The compartments don't leak (again, I haven't tried soup but yogurt, pudding, dressed salads and so on all work) so I can pack whatever I want and if I want sandwiches, I just pull the insulated container out. I appreciate the flexible/moveable divider in the side pocket. Also, when packed in a proper bento style (with the food really packed together to eliminate movement) you can get a LOT of food in here. I could probably pack myself a lunch in this one! I tend to grab this one for a more western style lunch but it works with asian style lunches, too.Cleaning: This is where I knocked the star off. This is hand wash only... I wish I could put it in my dishwasher like most of my other bentos! I'm always happy to hand was the insulated portions of bentos, but this one is entirely not dishwasher safe. I normally unpack my toddler's backpack as soon as he gets home and start this one soaking right away (kids are messy). I use a bottle brush to get into the nooks and crannies, but I find myself reaching for this one only if I want to use the insulated section because I have other bentos that I can toss in the dishwasher.All said and done, would I repurchase this? Yes. I like having it in my bento arsenal to grab when I want a cold pasta salad or warm chicken nuggets or spaghetti. Excellent product. Worth the price. No leaks. Keeps everything cold or hot. Buy the inserts. To separate the snacks. It's pretty big, so I bought the Adidas lunch bag and it fits it perfectly. The bag also has a bottom section for juice boxes. It's a great size for this lunchbox. With additional pockets

I was hesitant to spend so much money on a lunchbox for my preschooler (4 yo) but we needed a lunchbox that could keep things cold AND hot. I am SO HAPPY with this lunchbox! The quality is amazing, it functions as advertised, and is super easy to clean. My daughter can open and close it on her own at school too. It’s also heavy duty enough where I feel like it won’t break after one drop. It also fits into her lunch bag perfectly, although it does take up the entire bag leaving no room for any other snacks, but this isn’t an issue for us. AMAZING - if you’re on the fence, just buy it!

I saw this box on social media and figured I give it a try for my niece and son. We have tried so many different thermos and nothing would truly keep the food warm long enough for lunch time. My niece says this works well and she is able to eat her lunch without a problem. The plastic seems durable. And we have not had any problems with leaks. It's not too bag and can fit in most standard size lunch bags but to be honest you don't need really even need a lunch bag for it. I def recommend. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. I purchased 2.
