Q: are these for tv watching

That depends. Does your TV or whatever transmitter hooked up to it have APTX? The APTX protocol is key here, the headphones support them, but both sides need to support it. It not only increases the audio quality radically from standard Bluetooth, it eliminates in perceptible lag. With normal bluetooth, music is fine, but the 1/4 second delay between sight and sound on TV is jarring... and kinda sucks. APTX kills that problem. So I will say 'yes', _IF_ the TV transmits bluetooth APTX audio.... FWIW, you can buy APTX transmitters you can hook up to your TV for under $40 last I looked. But short answer; with APTX, yes, absolutely... these sound great with films, rich deep bass, clear highs... Without APTX, no. No Bluetooth without APTX is good for video because of the lag.

These are very even and flat... they are NOT bass boosted like Beats (which I despise personally). The bass is rich and deep, but not 'bass heavy'. Honestly, if all you care about is bass, save some money and buy cheap Beats. If you want the whole spectrum of sound to sound good... avoid Beats like an ebola sandwich and try these. Also, never buy expensive Beats, their prices are comical for the garbage they sell, I doubt there is much difference from the bottom of their line and their top... aside from marketing and paid for celeb endorsements..... but they are good for bass... just nothing else. These are audiophile headphones for a range of music that can excel at everything.... but pretty expensive if all you care about is bass.
