A 'must have' for Fursuit Making!
Absolutely perfect for fursuit making. I can see it being great for hat making, masks, and a bunch of other goodies! The size is perfect (about 22/23 inch around) and proportions are on par too! Perfect for getting those neck patterns juussst right. I personally don't use the fillable feature as I find it to be a good weight, but it would definitely come in handy for more top heavy / uneven items. It's not too heavy on its own, but it would definitely take some force to tip over. Made with a thick and sturdy plastic material with a bit of a texture; stickers and things will hold on just fine, but hot glue is easy to peel off. Doesn't scratch too easily, but of course will be cut up by scalpels and things alike, so be careful. It's a bit pricey but I will never go back! I can see myself using this armature for years on end. 10000% recommend.

Great for fursuit making!
Great for fursuits! I use it for fursuits but it's perfect for making Headwear, head has a circumference of around 23-24 inches

Best gift !
Got this for my husband . He absolutely loves it ! Great size and he said it’s very easy to use compared to others he’s had . Heavy but not to heavy so he moved it around when he’s in different rooms working on it .

Ed head 2.0
I saw a review that stated they had to fill the hole with hot water to release their monster clay. So obviously to me they didn't understand what "radiant assisted demold" means. So for those at the back of the class, or didn't bother looking it up or reading other reviews, THAT IS what it is meant for! I have this ed head and there is no problem with mine. I did see where some had problem with leaking but mine holds water fine.

Disappointed? Was this a faulty head?
Pictures are misleading; at least, in my case. I needed to pour water into the head to release one of my clay sculptures for molding a mask later on, but the way the plug on my head was installed was not only messy but also incorrect, the plug pushes inside the head, trapping the water inside with no way to let it escape. I don’t know if this was what was originally listed, but the two look much different to what I expected. Just for the price alone this should have been executed properly, either give the product I ordered or do not provide a faulty one.. Luckily I can still work with this, but immensely disappointed to have to do more work than needed to get water out.

Great for practice
I really couldn't find a review to answer the questions I had, so I took a chance and purchased the Ed Head and was going to move from there. I bought it because I wanted a full scale full head and neck model to practice sculpting on and possibly cast it. I didn't have experience working with any foam materials and couldn't really find answers online on how to use this material with clay. I filled 1/2 - 3/4 of the model with Ultracal and laid it on it's back to dry so that it's not too heavy or top heavy. I think it was a good idea with pushing clay around and having it not move around. I called up Monster Makers trying to get more info on this, but I surprisingly got a lot of "uhhhh, ummmm"s from the guy on the other end, which left me a unsure of what to do (like should I fill it with plaster). He did (as well as the paper that came with the armature) suggest to put a plastic cover either a bag or plastic wrap to extend it's life. I tried to wrap it in plastic wrap, but it was too hard to sculpt clay, using NSP Medium Plasteline. I also tried spraying a couple of sealers in test spots then putting clay on top of that to see if the clay was easier to clean off, but it wasn't. I finally just determined this will be only for practicing sculpting on. I might try to make a partial cast from this (like nose or eyebrow pieces), but I could see this think easily snapping trying to do a full cast on it. Overall, I am having fun sculpting on it and would buy another if this one breaks.

Arrived much earlier than expected, it's perfect! Very excited to have it.

Firstly, the seller ignored contact and we had to sort refund via Amazon. The packaging was poor too. Just stuffed in a box. Makes me think they're making a huge profit if they don't care about damage in transit. But seller aside, the head itself I can see why it is great for latex mask making, as it can be filled with hot water to loosen the mask. However, it is totally rigid plastic so for anyone using it as a foam base for fursuit or more rigid mask making, it's really hard to remove them!! It's also definitely large adult size. Not small enough for females or teens. The female one says it is the same size (52cm) so I didn't bother swapping them to try it as definitely too big for me. So yeah, poor seller, good for latex, not great for foam heads/fursuits unless you have a big head!
