These collars are the right ones to get for newborns. The nylon ones are great after a few weeks, but these are the only ones that can be sized to tiny necks. They aren't durable, but they don't need to last more than those first few weeks. The colors do need to be chosen carefully, as it is too easy to confuse light green and dark green and medium green, but these will be more than enough for multiple litters, so just save the ones that can be confused with one you used for next time. These can be adjusted to practically 6 weeks old, but they shouldn't be used that long, don't waste your time trying, they will just fall off after a month anyway.

U have to make sure velcro is 100% in tact and evenly placed and the puppy will outgrow it or it will get dirty before it wears out. They worked perfectly for my litter of 13 puppies, but bc they grew so fast and collars got nasty fast, I needed to replace within a week. So I wud suggest to buy more than what u need. They are washable but if u don't cut long enough and velcro cannot be placed evenly and on the entire inch to 1.5 inch surface, then debri will cling to it, rendering the velcro useless.

I bought these for a litter of six foster kittens because five of them looked almost identical. They were too small to wear real collars, so I tried these to help tell them apart. Unfortunately they didn’t work great for kittens. I found them on the ground pretty often, so they didn’t stay on very well. The idea is good, especially for identifying babies in a litter, but they seem to work better for puppies than for cats. For kittens they came undone too easily.

We recently adopted two nearly identical 14 week old kittens so I bought collars to help us tell them apart. At first we tried XS breakaway kitten collars, but they were too bulky and the kittens kept getting them stuck in their mouths trying to get them off. So I ordered these simple, lightweight, colorful collars. But they haven't really worked out for us, either. The collars are made of a soft, durable fabric with a Velcro-type fastener on one end and it's very easy to cut down the other end without the material fraying. However, both of our kittens managed to get their collars off during the night. The one we thought was properly fitted ended up in the kitten's mouth long enough to create scabs around the corners of his mouth. The other collar, which wasn't trimmed down at all, we found on the floor, still fastened to itself, and chewed/torn into two pieces. I honestly don't know if the issue is with the collars or with our very determined kittens. For those wondering about the size: These collars are 12" long with about another 2" of Velcro type fastener. Without trimming and by fastening the entire Velcro portion onto the other end, the collar makes a circle large enough to easily slip onto a 20oz Yankee Candle Jar and sit loosely in place.

These were wonderful for our very small kittens especially when feeding cuz I had to bottle feed a few of them and it helped with knowing who got fed win and it a great value for the cost it fit my kitten and there mom you cut them to fix to your cat or dog my mother cat is very particular about colors and she had no problem wearing it the colors were very vibrant and bright

Easy to use puppy collars. They are longer but can be cut for smaller puppies which is awesome. Easy to remove and comes with a variety of colors.

Stayed on, lots of colors to choose from

It’s been a week since I put them on my kittens. They never came off. You may have to cut it short to get the perfect size. The kittens are not uncomfortable by these Velcro bands and the colours are very flattering. Overall it’s a go-to product. I would totally recommend to anyone. 10/10

Quite durable the velcro can get little bits of fluff in it and come apart but other than that very soft and comfortable, needs to be wrapped around the puppies neck twice for newborns, but this did not pose any issues at all, remember to check the puppies neck everyday for possible adjustments to the collar puppies grow quickly,overall I'm very satisfied with this product it has made keeping track of the puppies very easy

My dog had 7 puppies so we needed some collars to tell them apart. These are nice for the first few weeks of puppy life because they are soft and not restricting at all. The tail piece does flip out of the collar and hangs out, and I could see the velcro wearing out fast but they worked for the time I needed them

Great welping collars at first. But eventually around 4-5 weeks. The velcro doesn't hold any more, even after hand washing
