I went through a bunch of these, and I like this one best. I think that the air vent ones are a waste because when you have the heat on it makes your phone behave screwy. The ones where you stick a magnet on the back of your phone runs into the same trouble with the heat, plus the mess the glue leaves is screwy.I have the LG Stylus 3 Plus, and the screen is 5.4", it's kind of big. This claims it can hold phones up to 6". I can't see that being true unless you don't use a phone case/protector. My phone fits in when the holder is extended to its fullest.Having said that, the phone is securely in the holder, plus, the mirror vice is very sturdy. Even around the sharpest turns and corners it doesn't loosen a bit.The downside for me is that the activate button/off-button is on the back of my phone, right where this extender rests. So, this button is inaccessible, but this is a small sacrifice.So hands down this is the best phone holder for the car in my opinion. Sure, it's a bit more expensive, but it's well worth it.

I was thrilled with this mount for the first few months that I had it- held my phone securely and I could adjust it to a perfect angle. However, after about 4 months of use, the rubber pads on the clips that hold it to the rear view fell off, and now it no longer stays attached to the mirror. The pads can probably be glued back on with super glue, but unfortunately, one of them fell off and disappeared. The mount is now useless.

Grips the rear view mirror tightly so it will never fall off unlike the adhesive or suction secured mounts. Adjustable rigid cable on it allows you to position it however you need. Phone mount is also height adjustable to fit whatever you have, my iphone X sits in it well. One small drawback is that there doesnt appear to be a release mechanism once the phone is seated in it, you just pull the phone out against the rubber holds on top of the mount.

This rearview mirror mount is awesome. It's exactly what I had been searching for. No messy sticking on the dashboard. No blocking air vents. No taking up cup holders or CD players. It doesn't block your vision. And you can have your phone plugged in for charging while it's mounted. It's great for road trips. I loved it so much I bought 2 more of them for my family. And Yes, it fits on the modern 2-inch thick mirrors.

I like the idea that I can clip it on the rearview mirror (doesn't shake/tilt a lot while driving) instead of the windshield or on the dashboard since it would be in the way when I want to use windshield sun shade (or it might melt the suction mount in the summer) and might damage my dashboard if the suction is too strong

Very cool device! I've got a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and this mount adjusted to hold it perfectly. It's in easy reach and visibility without interfering with lines of sight etc. Seems very secure thus far...drove from Florida to South Carolina and back with no issues so I'd say that's a pretty good road test. Sure it bounces a little on bumpy roads, but not enough to knock off any stars.

Loved this item until after about 3 months it just became loose and the pole actually slid out of the clap that attaches to the rear view mirrorfell off my rear. Luckily my phone didn't get shattered! I went to tighten the screw that holds the pole into the clamp and I saw instantly what the issue was, the screw hole in the pole was already stripped. I tried to tighten it but it was in all the way and just spun.

I love this one. It's at eye level but doesn't block your view. The one I had before & returned, plugged into my charger, which was nice, but I had to look down to see it. This I didn't like cause it was dangerous!!
