Dalton Enterprises 35099 PLI-STIX 30 Ft. Asphalt and Concrete Crack Filler (3-(Pack))

These are a great way to repair small to medium cracks in asphalt. Blow off any debris that’s on or in the crack, then cut a piece to length and press it onto / into the crack. Now use your propane torch to melt the material into the crack. I found it useful to have a wood paint stir stick handy to reposition the patch stix if it moves a little as you’re heating it. It will flow over and into the crack and form a very robust seal with the surrounding surface, providing a long term repair. Don’t overheat it… you just need to get it hot enough to turn into a liquid. Too much heat will boil / burn the patch material and you’ll have to re-do it with another piece. These are *much* better than the liquid repair kits that really are meant only for very minor cracks. The finished patch has a glossy look to it and is quite durable. These seem to produce results that are comparable to what a professional asphalt repair company can do with their pot of hot-melt liquid patch.

Be prepared with correct tools, packing the product and heating to melt and partially seal.
