I could not find a decent white handkerchief in local stores anymore. I got Luckey and found a great rated handkerchief on Amazon in their Causa Forcia Store. They are 16"x16" large square made from Turkish White Cotton, that are durable, absorbent and soft. You will find them a good fit on any occasion. I love them and I am sure you will be happy with them. as well.

Pros: I have purchased other cotton handkerchiefs from Amazon before. I hate them because they are thin and hard and stiff when you get them. You must wash them to make them soft. OK, Handkerchiefs. What do I want from from a handkerchief. I want durability. I want them to last. and I want them to be soft on my nose. The ones I purchased before on Amazon were cheaper but they were thinner. They were stiff like starched when I got them. They hurt my nose. They got better after washing them, but then they started falling apart. These are thicker, but even unwashed are better quality. They are thicker, a little thicker. These have a nice weave design in the edges. So they are not just cut pieces of cotton cloth with a stiched edge. These seem to be better quality. Right from the box, they feel heavier.Cons: From the shipping box, I first thought I was not receiving the 24 pieces I expected. I later found out out that they fold two handkerchiefs together. They first thing I did was wash them together with other cotton T-Shirts. After one wash, these are the best handkerchiefs I have ever owned. I wish there was a USA manufacturer of this quality. I have not found one. After a first wash, these maintain their squareness. They are much softer on my nose than the other cotton ones I have purchased before. I like the pattern in the cloth. I think these are great for gifting. Buy these, wash them then have them monogrammed. These would be a great gift.

These are nicer than the really cheap pretty ones I've purchased. They are not thick by any means, but they are thicker than others. They are also a little softer. I decided to rinse them in vinegar when I wash them to try to soften them up. Too soon to tell. I am sure they will soften with use.

Product description was spot on. Quality was there. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these hankies.

I am dissapointed in the texture of these handkerchiefs. Rather than being soft they are coarse and uncomfortable especially on a nose irritated by a cold. I’ve washed them 2x and they haven’t improved. I bought a different set from Amazon in the past for the same price that were much softer. I will not buy these again.

Thinking that they would be 100% cotton without being a polyester blend caused me to buy these. I have no idea what else there could have been in the fabric. I have never seen cotton as stiff and course as this fabric is. And, as mentioned by others, it was very wrinkly.I needed these because I tend to get severe respiratory problems, especially in the winter. My nose is always running, and I am coughing a ton. I need a soft fabric that will not add to my problems by causing friction, making my nose and upper mouth sore and raw, etc.Unfortunately, I had to throw these out. They were so stiff and rough that they caused more problems than they solved.There is another handkerchief that claims to be 100% cotton from the Scotamalone store. It is clearly a polyester blend. While the fabric on them is soft, the polyester fibers would pill up and cause scratching and irritation to my sore face.I ended up throwing out all of the handkerchiefs that came from Amazon, cutting up a large microfiber bedsheet into 16 inch squares, hemming the edges and now using those for a soft, wrinkle resistant set of handkerchiefs.I took the extra time to tell my story to - hopefully - help someone else who really needs a fiber that is soft on tender skin.
