If you're looking at this, then you've got that incredibly irritating light that goes off in your Audi or other German car telling which is nothing more than a check engine warning. If you're looking at the gas cap, you already know what the problem is... So here's the review, buy this one. I had to return at least two because they were junk. This is the real deal and is worth every penny. It properly seals to the car and you will not have that light go off again. Thank me later or better yet... Pay it forward

The rubber piece that connected the original gas cap to the vehicle broke, and I wasn’t about to pay far more money than this cost for an OEM cap. Works fine. The only reason I took one star off is that the cap did not click when properly tightened, as advertised and as the factory original did. Not that big a deal, and so far there’s been no code indicating the gas cap wasn’t properly tightened. So, all’s good and I’m happy with the purchase.

Fixed the P0456 code on my 2014 A4 2.0T. Really easy to instal (if u just pull the little peg out of the tail and put it around the old peg that’s already on the car from the old gas cap) takes literally 3 seconds. Very happy with it.

Gas cap is too tight, doesn’t “click”, and my check engine light came on shortly after it was installed.Now I must pay for a new cap from Audi and pay a diagnosis charge.I clearly ordered a cap for a 2012 Audi A5 Quattro.I feel like a got a very bad deal.

had check engine light and from past experience I knew it had to do with the gas cap. Could have bought a seal but bought the whole assembly and it solved the CEL.
