I’m a knife enthusiast and hobbyist focused on sharpening and restoring blades, and I’ve now sharpened over 20 knives using the Intelitopia Complete Knife Sharpening Stone Set. These stones have absolutely brought my dull knives back to life — I’m consistently getting edges that will slice cleanly through paper with ease. The grit progression in this kit is very well thought out and allows for full edge restoration, from repairing worn blades to refining and polishing the edge. The leather strop is a great addition — it’s durable, well-made, and does an excellent job of refining the edge and removing the final burr. One thing worth noting is that these stones need proper soaking and consistent hydration. If they aren’t soaked beforehand or kept wet during use, they do tend to dry out fairly quickly. Once you manage the water correctly, though, they perform extremely well and feel smooth and controlled during sharpening. For the quality, performance, and included accessories, the price point is excellent. This is a very capable system for both beginners and serious hobbyists, and it’s delivered professional-level results for me. Highly recommended for anyone serious about knife maintenance and restoration.

Razor sharp knives....takes some time if the angle is not correct on the blade, however the stones are of good quality!

My husband was very happy to receive this as a gift. It had everything you need and its been really hard finding one out in the stores. Very reasonably priced. The durability is impeccable. The sharpness is on point. Very easy to learn and use. Great quality!

Wow. It is nice to have everything included for a reasonable price. I am not to sure about the angle guide, but look forward to trying it. For now, I rely on my feel. The range of grit (400, 1000, 3000, 8000) allows you to fix a damaged knife and then hone a fine edge. There are many extras to like such as the strap, the angle guide, the nonslip base, the stone to refresh the other stones. Everything is of high quality and the most complete set I found.

This is a really nice kit. With videos I found online, I was able to restore my long-neglected knives to razor sharpness with just a few hours of work. Sharpening knives is pretty easy once you know how to do it. I suggest Vincent Lau's video "How A Master Knife Sharpener Restores Broken Knives" as a starting point. Vincent demystifies several components that come with the kit, even though he doesn't refer to this specific kit: he explains what each grit level is for, and also how and why to use the stone leveler and the small conditioning stone. He also explains about the angle to use, direction and amount of force to use, etc. He doesn't describe the angle guide (a nice bonus feature that I appreciated, as a beginner) and the strop, but it's easy to find out how to use these. The directions that come with the kit are terrible, but with so much great info online, you really don't need them. This kit is well worth the money and I expect I'll be using it for years.

For a cheap Chinese sharpening stone kit I cannot say anything bad about this one. In fact It works very well. I get a nice finish that makes me happy. Yes this is easy to use. I enjoy sharpening my blades with this kit. These would be a great gift for a beginner. The strop is the only thing in this kit that is junk. So if you don't have a good strop make one or buy a quality one. Yes I recommend this if you are interested in sharpening your own knives.
