Most comfy sneakers ever!!!
I’ve been wearing these shoes just about everyday for a year…at work, at the gym, walking the dog, running errands, etc. and these sneakers still look amazing! They’re a bit dirty in the pictures, but the soles barely even look worn, just fraying a bit. I have narrow feet and these are the ONLY New Balance that fit me. They are like wearing socks. They’re extremely comfortable. I did add an insert for my heel spurs, but that’s a me problem that had an easy solution. I average 8,000 steps/day just at work and my feet never tire. These sneakers are outstanding!

Like walking on clouds
I’ve been eyeing these shoes for a good while. I love to run and have been a loyal ASICS user, so I was afraid to try something new. But I finally bit the bullet and bought these puppies, and I’m sure glad I did. Immediately upon opening I slipped them on and immediately felt the comfort of walking on clouds. I was excited to break them in a work. I’m a nurse and on my feet for 12 plus hours a day. They kept up with me throughout my shift and I didn’t have an ache all day. I can’t wait to try them out on my next run, I’m sure they will be just great. They are true to size as well! The only thing is, if you have wide or chubby feet, I would reconsider these or try them on at a store first. I have narrow, boney feet and these fit pretty snug through the top at the laces. The toe box had plenty of room though, just throughout the top is where it fit “very well”. Sadly these will not be my work shoes bc I will destroy them in 3 months if I use as my running and work shoe. But 12 hours on the cement floor is a great way to test the comfort and I give them a 100.

Finally a shoe in Narrow width that fits perfectly!
I have long skinny feet and have a horrible time finding athletic sneakers to fit right. When they are too loose, my foot slides forward in the shoe when I do lunges during my Jazzercise or Zumba classes, bumping my toe. These are a fabulous fit around the ankle and instep, and still plenty roomy in the toe box area, and no more sliding forward in the shoe! The first day I wore them (because I have flat feet) the arch support felt a little uncomfortable, but today, day 2, it feels just fine. I wish it was a tad more squishy under the ball of my foot, for jumping, but I'm going to try a metatarsal pad under next time to see if that makes it softer. A nearly perfect shoe for me. I like the black color, and only wish the other colors that were in my size were more appealing- I'd like deep purple, or dark navy blue? I can't imagine many are drawn to the lemon yellow? Or the blue and coral combo? I like the teal blue, but I already have a pair in that color, and it doesn't come in Narrow anyway possibly. If you have narrow feet, give these a try!

Bad Knee's Dream Come True
Having broken my knee a little over a year ago, it has taken my a while to transition back to some hard interval workouts. I had been using Hoka OneOne Arahi for a long time but wanted to go back to New Balance (my brand before the accident). I had researched for hours the types of shoes that would be kind on joints and came across this brand.I was very cautious with my first run and only completed an easy run on them. When I felt comfortable they would not cause any pain, I used them the next day for the intervals workout. I could tell the significant difference in my running between these and the Hokas. These are much lighter, but provide the same level of cushion and support. There is a slight adjustment because the heel counter is lower than typical running shoes but it's nothing significant. The toe spring is pretty solid and I get a good stride each time. The drop is something else I had to get used to, but after the first mile I got into a rhythm. Overall, I am extremely impressed and happy that I have transitioned back to having a couple pairs of shoes for various workouts. Big step in the recovery process!

Best pair of running shoes I've ever owned
After a fair amount of research to find the perfect shoe for me (my last pair caused a bit of an injury/constant pain on the outside of my feet from pronation), I settled on this pair. Best decision ever. If I could marry a pair of running shoes, I'd choose these <3 they are PERFECT. The first time I put them on (while still injured), it felt like putting little pillows on my feet. They're so comfortable! I started out putting miles on them walking while I recovered, and I was shocked at how great they felt even without a breaking in period. I wore them for long walks and elliptical usage first, and I've finally gotten back to running (first with 3-4 mile runs and now back up to 7-9 mile runs), and I can't stop saying enough great things about these shoes. It's a world of difference while running to have such an awesome pair of shoes. If you suffer from pronation and need a really comfortable pair of running shoes (or if you stand around on your feet all day and just want to be SUPER comfortable), get yourself a pair of these. They feel great, and they look great, and I have 0 complaints.

Great shoe for heel pain / high arches
These New Balance 1080s have so much more cushion in the sole than the Brooks Glycerin I've been in for 2 years. The sole is almost like a rocker without the ugly look of Hokas or orthotic shoes, which means that my arches are supported with the foam starting in the sole which is so rare. I still wear my CurRex inserts to raise the arch support in the inside of the shoe. The sole is a rubber/foam combo with rubber on the parts of the sole where there's going to be more impact. I have pretty bad heel pain and very high arches and the heel cup in these is very sturdy and structured. It leaves my heels feeling supported and in much less pain. The upper is a sock-like mesh which allows the toe box to feel stretchier and move with my feet, making the shoes easy to break in and great for my wide feet. They also have great ventilation. Finally, they're good-looking shoes! So hard to find shoes for my high-arched, heel-pained, women's 11 feet that actually look really great. I love them!
