Expert Espresso Great, Expert Coffee...Not For Me
I love the Expert Espresso capsules, in fact, I think the Expert Espresso Intenso X2 (double) and single shot Espresso Intenso capsules are great, some of Lavazza's best. Also, Expert Espresso capsules work wonderfully in the Lavazza BLUE machines. What I don't like are the Expert Intenso (and Classico) "Coffee" capsules or "8 oz / 240 ml" coffee capsules. They are completely different from the Espresso capsules. The 8 oz Coffee capsule has a secret, namely it has instant coffee in it, and I just don't care for it. To be fair, I pulled a Lungo or large espresso shot with it, about 3 oz, but I still didn't like it. I didn't realize these were "Coffee" capsules, and that's probably why they tasted so bad. They tasted stale so I opened one up and there it was, instant coffee sitting on top of ground coffee combined. To make a long story short, I recommend all the Expert "Espresso" capsules, they are some of the best capsules for Lavazza Expert and BLUE machines, but I personally would avoid the "Coffee" capsules (unless you like instant coffee).

Lavazza makes an excellent cup
This is for Lavazza machines, not Keurig. I own both Keurig and Lavazza coffee makers. First, I have to say that it’s important to fully read descriptions to be sure you get the right coffee type for your machine, as evidenced by posts where people did not. There is no misleading in the description, but you need to read and know your machine. Second, the quality of Lavazza coffee is excellent. It’s smooth, has great flavor, and is very easy to use, even if the machines take reading the instruction book before use. We got hooked on espresso on a trip to NL and bought the Lavazza to have easy espresso at home. The variety box is perfect to try flavors and to mix it up when you want a double or decaf. I won’t say it’s a great value per cup compared to drip coffee, but it’s cheaper than espresso drinks from a coffee shop.

Delicious Flavor, Packaging/Packing Iffy
Fell in love with this brand in Tuscany. Love these pods, but I do either better packaging. I’m not sure if it’s a packaging issue or a packing problem, but more times than not the side is busted open and the pods are all over the place. Love the double strength! Un doppio espresso per favore!🤌🏽* Take note that these pods only fit in the Lavazza espresso maker.

Great pods!
These work great in our Lavazzo. The taste is great, the price is on point, we don't get any coffee grounds in our espresso. They are exactly what we needed.

Great coffee
If this isn't the best coffee that I think I've ever tasted in my life. I don't know what is absolutely nice, smooth, rich taste

LOVE these pods, better than nespresso
Note - these are for the Lavazza machine, they arent K-cups. We use them in our Lavazza Classy machine and it tastes great. Half the price of Nespresso pods, which is why we switched.

Excellent quality, better than competition
It arrived with an extra gift, expiration date 2026 in one year, excelent flavor. Better than any competition from US or Europe.

THINK before you buy this pod version (Expert)
This is a really yummy coffee and when it got outrageous to purchase it, I went elsewhere (Sweden) for my coffee. That being said, Gran Aroma comes back on the market at a really good price. Image shows the Keurig style of coffee pod (not Nespresso not coffee tabs). I jump at the chance to get it, it arrives and yes, the title on the box clearly shows - this is "expert" coffee (whatever the heck that means in marketing lingo). Nowhere do I find a clear indication that these pods are NOT for standard Keurig machines. Even now, looking at the box closely, there is nothing to indicate the "duck" on the box is not a duck. Keurig may have brought out a new system, I didn't look, and Lavazza may have patent infringed Keurig and made this alternate "duck" but this is a complete waste, as the pods can't be used with the basic, average, generations 1 and 2, found every place on the planet - standard Keurig style coffee makers. The only way to use these, is to open the pod and place the coffee in a Keurig style single service basket (removing the separator). The annoying part of the whole matter is that when you do that the coffee still comes out great (dangit- hence 3 stars)... so I am not sending the lot back tied to a rail. THINK before you try and feed your Keurig habit the "expert" way.I changed my rating from 3 to 4 stars as the packaging sucks but I found the best way to extract really good coffee using the Keurig single cup filter and paper liners. Lots of work but GREAT coffee!
