We have owned a small computer repair business for over 20 years, and you would probably think that we would have bought one of these for inventory and sales purposes years ago, but, we remained very much "old school" for the longest time until I broke down and decided to buy a barcode scanner and I am happy to say that I am VERY glad that I did. This scanner has made quick work of some of our more tedious tasks of inputting data and codes into our POS system as well as the various spreadsheets that we have for other purposes. For the longest time, I tried to keep inventory low enough that we did not need to buy a scanner like this, but, as is usually the case, business expanded to the point where keeping track of the vast inventory we truly had was more than could be managed the old way, and this scanner helped do the job perfectly. No drivers were needed, simple plug and play. If anyone is looking for a barcode scanner, we would highly recommend this as a truly viable and affordable option that works.

It's a great system, very easy to set up, and extremely affordable for its quality.

I was developing a point of sale system for a candy store, and some shiny wrappers cause problems with certain scanners. I had bought an optical CCD gun style and it mounted on stand. Worked, but sometimes finicky. Decided to try something else. Saw this interesting format one, never used the pedestal style.OH. MY. GOODNESS. This thing ROCKS :) Scans are super fast and accurate, it works soooooooooo much better than the gun I had before. I love this. I'll be always buying these for future builds.I just wish the light would be able to be disabled until it's needed. Not a big deal, the only thing I'd want to change.

Pros of the scanner-Accuracy is really good-Installation is super easy-Length of cord is plentyCons-Programming the scanner was very difficult and seller did not provide any support even after messaging him multiple times.-The user guide that comes with the scanner is really useless because everything we tried did not work-Built quality is ok-Even though the scanner has very good accuracy it is a bit on the slower side.

This scanner can detect nearly any barcode! My staff no longer have to fight, beg, and bribe our register to ring up barcodes that are faded, reflective, or not flat! Brilliant! Was also a very simple plug and play setup.

Has made life a bit easier. Good build quality. Easy to use, accurate. No real regrets about getting it.I do wish it had an off button though. I use it at home and the light stays on even if the PC is off. Can be a little annoying at times. I would recommend an on/off switch HUB with this device. To solve that problem.

Bought to record a load of boxes of hardware, the scanner made recording the details easy, used excel to record into and after the bar code is recorded the scanner appears to press the enter key so excel drops down a line, works in word and other applications as well. Saved hours and the recordings are accurate.Plug and play, all you need is an open spreadsheet or word processor document and it populates a table with the scanned bar code numbers. I use it for training demos and it's really effective. If you want it to check stocks etc then probably better to pay a bit more for a cable free version or you'll have to cart around your tablet or laptop too.

Amazingly easy to set up. Opened box, plugged supplied cord into base, other end into USB port into computer. Took scanner and placed in base. Scanner started to charge immediately. Few minutes later it was charged and ready to scan. Took it out of the cradle, tested the unit and it works perfectly. Imagine that, a product that works exactly as advertised, takes minutes to set up! Have been using it all day without issue now. Makes life a lot easier without a cord attached to the scanner. Just bought a second one for our other workstation. Highly recommend this product!

Out of the box, it's easy to use (plug-and-play).But configuring it with the barcodes in the manual doesn't seem to work well. The main issue is you're not sure what you're aiming at as the red LED's floodlight the whole area without giving a sense of what the camera is focussing on.I've ended up going back to my "gun" scanner as it's more reliable.

Scanning is fast and accurate.

This scanner does not work with QR codes as the description says. It's otherwise a good scanner if you don't need to scan QRs.
