For the money, can’t go wrong. Comes with a cheap type “D” chuck. I prefer the red ColorConnex type D “industrial”. Even with the included chuck and a single wrap or tape and finger tight, it took off a ceramic/japanning/powder coat type paint I’ve been meaning to tackle but dreading it. Used a sander flap disc on an angle grinder one upon a time and it would have taken until my kids graduated college. BIG plus, paperwork says bring to Harbor Freight for issues/replacement I believe. Only glanced quick. All that said; peel the sticker, def get your glasses/shield on and go to town, she won’t disappoint! (Oh, I like it much more than the air hammer attachment too, no comparison)

Have only ran it for a short test session on rust and firmly attached paint but it seems to be well made and not terribly heavy so good for overhead work. Mine has 12 needles so, I'm not quite sure what the other reviews were referring to about not having enough needles for a compact scaler. Keep it oiled and it should give you your $30 investment back in time savings over hand scraping and wire brushing. Will update after welding up a 12' x 40' deck roof frame...planning to use it to scale the weld slag before painting.

Needles randomly fell out after doing a couple projects . Worked well though … Just needs to be more durable needle wise .

This is my first time using a needle scaler and it seems to do a great job busting scaled rust, easy to use, not a terrible air hog either

was working on silverado frame to get rust off to paint it. this tool worked great on getting loose rust off alot better than wire wheel
