Use these with my only fire rotisserie tumbler basket. These are more functional than a slow n sear basket as you can place them right where you need them or pull them back away from the rotisserie if the coals are flaring up! Put them both in the middle and cook food around the edges like a vortex. A lot of bang for the buck!

They work well. I use them on my Weber kettle style grill to smoke with. I only have the basic grate though and have to pick up the grate loaded with food to add more coals. Would work much better with the hinge type grate but that’s on me.

I bought these in 2022, and I've used them many, many times. They do a great job of holding coals in place for grilling the way you want.I also live in metro Atlanta, and uncharacteristically, I haven't done one thing to take care of them. They have been outside in the heat and cold, in drought and deluge. And they've held up well. They aren't pretty, but they're still doing the job as well as day one, and they have lots of life remaining in them. For $22, I can't complain.
