I could not have made a better vase choice if I wanted to. For any negatives that you read about this vase, the positives greatly outway. The vase is exactly as pictured. Check out my attached picture. It is astonishingly beautiful. The plants are “birds of paradise.” The picture shown is minutes after receiving and opening. So I can’t comment on color deterioration, etc.. It’s not a heavy metal, it’s kinda thin “but not too thin.” It’s for display purposes. It’s not a weak thin. Just thin metal. Yes it’s metal.And it’s just beautiful and that is what I was looking for.I am very pleased with my purchase.

I purchased the medium sized vase as a center piece for my dining room table. The vase is made of durable material and does not shatter. It is light weight to carry around. I hold dry arrangements and artificial arrangements. It is leak proof. It is perfect for adding a decorative touch to your home. This vase is 17 inches tall. This vase for silk or dried flowers. The square feature has 4 sides of raised colorful flowers. The vase has a solid square bottom providing good solid stand. This is a fun vase for either bohemian or colletic look.

The bottom edges of the vase I received are very rough and a bit jagged and would scratch up wood and other surfaces when the vase would be placed on them. I am going to have to take a metal file and file the edges until they are smooth and maybe even glue some felt on the bottom for good measure to prevent scratching of whatever surfaces I place the vase on. The vase itself and the box it was shipped in was also full of some kind of debris; I am assuming the debris came from the manufacturing process of the vase. (I am including a photo showing the bottom of vase and the debris.)However, I like that the base of the vase is square shaped and broad in size, because it makes it harder for the vase to tip over. I had bought some large, artificial, fall folliage stems, so it was important to have a taller vase that could also bear the weight of the artificial folliage without the weight or height of the folliage stems causing the vase to tip over. I think once I smooth down the bottom edges of the vase's base the vase will work well.
