3 X 600MM Pull Out Wire Basket Kitchen Larder Base Unit Cupboard Storage Soft Close

We have a lot of full length cupboards in our kitchen and some of the shelves are too far apart (ok for tall items), so there's a lot of wasted space. We bought 3 of these wire pull out drawers and they are brilliant, just what we wanted. They're strong and well made. They fitted our 600mm cupboards perfectly, didn't have to adjust them at all. As per other reviews, the instructions are practically non existent but it's not hard to work out and my husband had no problem installing them at all. I would really recommend these and the seller. No problems at all.

These 3 Wire Baskets from Lighting Innovations have been excellent -- easy to fit with some care and attention and work well with the soft-closure facility. A minor problem with a pair of slightly 'notchy' runners was quickly resolved by Lighting Innovations and a new pair sent out without any hassle the next day; the replacement pair work perfectly. As other customers have reported the 'instructions' are totally useless - surprising from a German supplier - but it's not difficult to work out what pieces go where : very easy to fit. but just take your time. Ideally use a very fine electric drill for pilot holes, and then easy to hand screw in fixing screws; spirit level useful as well to prove that your kitchen is not built on a steep slope - and then the runners glide perfectly. Plenty of adjustment available for Basket height if needed. I used 8 screws per rail which seems fine - unless storing gold bullion of course.A couple of 'handy hints' as elsewhere : 1. Fit the bottom Basket first and ensure it glides smoothly just above the base of the cupboard to avoid snagging. Maybe put in old shelf resting on the base, fit the Basket runners with the new Basket resting on the shelf, fix and tighten and then slide out the old shelf leaving the new Basket suspended 2cms or so above the Cupboard floor. 2. Fit top Basket next with suitable clearance from the cupboard top frame structure for intended storage items to avoid any "and what do you think of this then ?" as you're first demonstrating the easy-glide runners to a non-admiring audience : clunk, scrape, bang etc. 3. Put tallest intended storage items - cereal packs, olive oil bottles blah in bottom Basket, measure a good 5cms clearance above those to assess the positioning of the final Basket as the middle shelf. 4. And the mysterious grey plastic lugs that come with the screw pack ? No idea - instructions of course don't even mention them - but I gather for fitting wood panels to the front of the new Wire Baskets - which partially defeats the object of buying the Baskets in the first place so that you can see where everything is.In short, a great Product supplied by a very helpful company. You'll be amazed at what stuff has been flung and lost in the depths of your cupboard previously, now revealed to all with your new spiffy soft-closing Baskets (useless for slamming closed when having a row in your kitchen). Go on, buy them - you know it makes sense!

The kitchen cupboards in our new house were woefully short on shelf space, so we bought three packs of these drawers and have fitted eight of them. Husband said the first was a little bit fiddly to adjust, but was an expert by the time he’d finished. Nice and sturdy, with a lockable feature. Excellent, thoroughly recommend them.

These are a quality item and good value for three. The soft close kicks in for the last few centimetres, and is less efficient when the basket is carrying some weight (full of tins, for example), but I didn't buy them for that 'feature'.BUT, they are accompanied by the worst, sub-optimal, sub-standard, unsatisfactory, unhelpful, poor, ridiculously scant, inadequate, appalling instructions. In fact, it would be fair to say that they are neither instructions nor in the least instructive. Given that this is a German product (by the look of the 'instructions') it's even more baffling why they should be so poor.Four stars for the item but NO STARS for the seller or manufacturer. The seller should compile some comprehensive instructions to accompany the product or stop selling it (in my opinion). It's a wonder there aren't more of these on Warehouse Deals, sent back because they are too complicated.You will need skill at DIY to fit these so they are not for the casual installer.One piece of advice (short of rewriting the 'instructions'). Slacken the super, ultra, mega tight (far too tight) lateral adjustment screws in the runners, so that they can fit the carcass, otherwise you may be a centimetre short and distort the brackets when tightening to the carcass wall (that's the only help I'm giving the seller).Another reviewer mentions the four grey U brackets as a mechanism for attaching to the door. What utter nonsense. Short of rewriting the appalling, inadequate (etc) instructions in this review, suffice it to say that I believe the U brackets to be for the attachment of a DRAWER front to the basket. A door mechanism is a mechanism, not a small piece of grey plastic. You will have to be very skilled to make a drawer front fit square and true with no adjustment from four grey brackets...So, there you have it. If you like a challenge and want excellent quality, buy them. Seller, sort your merchandise out. Otherwise, avoid.

We were delighted that we purchased this set of metal pull out drawers. Easy to fit, makes such a difference with easy access to the items we have put in them.No more emptying shelves to get to items, simply pull out a drawer, grab what you want and push the drawer back.

Well built and easy to install. Good value for money.

These racks are very sturdy and are soft close. They come with some clips so you can attach a drawer front to them if you want to, but these aren't required if you are using inside a cupboard. The instructions are rubbish, but it is so obvious what to do and if you have a tiny amount of DIY experience and a screw driver, they are very easy to fit. I fitted these in 20 mins. I would recommend and would buy again if needed
