Great little heater
We have a 2 story house plus a basement. The fireplace in the basement provides enough heat for the entire house. With temperatures dipping this winter and bedroom doors being closed at night, the bedrooms were getting way too cold. My FIL bought this for the bedroom our 3 boys share. It's a nice sized bedroom and this heater does a great job. It stays cool to the touch and I don't have to worry about the kids playing in their bedroom without supervision and getting burned. It took a little while to warm up at first, which is the way these heaters work. Once it brought the room up to temp it has kept it there very nicely. It doesn't dry out your skin like other heaters. It runs quietly. The front glows red when it's heating (which you can see in the picture) and blue when it's not. I worried the new and changing lights would bother the kids, but it never has. It's kind of light another night light. I really like it and would love to buy about 3 more for the other bedrooms, but the price tag is pretty steep. I have sworn by the cheap Holms model for years. I used it in my own bedroom as a kid and love them. However, they dry you out a ton. So the fact this one stays cool and doesn't dry you out makes it a winner in my book. I just wish it was much cheaper.

It's HOT alright
Pros: HOT HOT HOT Air. (238*F At Radiator, 198* At Grill)Cool To Touch.Included Wireless IR RemoteVery Light WeightCool Blue & Red LED's To Indicate When Heater is On Or OffCube Shape Means Easy StorageCons: Fan Way Too Small and NoisyDoes Not Push As Much Air As It CouldIncluded Air Filter Restricts Air Flow Too MuchBuilt In Temperature Sensor Is Very Sensitive But Cannot Tell What Temperature The Surrounding Air Is Unless The Fan Turns On So Room Becomes Quite Cold Before The Heater Turns Back OnIncluded Remote Works From No More than 5-6 Ft and That's DIRECTLY In Front Of The Heater. Quiet WorthlessBasically this heater could have been SO much better than it is and that's a shame because it could have been the ultimate heater with maybe a 140mm fan, better air flow and better temperature sensing management.

Safe smaller heater!
We use this heater in our office and it delivers the perfect amount of quiet heat without the risk of burning the office down! Love it!

high-priced electric heater
This heater and others like it -- costing even 3 times the cost of this one -- still plug in to the SAME 15 - 20 amp wall outlet. That means they ALL use no more than 1500 watts of electricity. A 1500-watt electric heater produces around 5,000 BTUs of heat. Regardless of how many bells and whistles; or how many multi-speed blowers; or how nice the Amish-polished heater cabinet looks, all of the heaters generate the same BTUs as the $15 model from Walmart, Kmart, or Shopko.
