Great to have several smaller portions
I'm glad to have several small portions instead of a jar that can dry out if not used often. These pouches are ideal.

l'm French but lived in the US for 40 yrs before moving back to France. My still lives in the US but has visited France a ton of times and learned to appreciate its gourmet side. Tomorrow l'm flying to Colorado to spend the holidays with him and wanted to try a new recipe that uses creme de marrons. Since l'm usually overloaded, l cruised Amazon USA to see what French products l could find and l was delighted to find this delicious creme de marrons.Also often used as a dessert... plain, mixed with sour cream or half and half cream to reduce the "sweet taste", or topped with whipped cream in a stemmed glass (it's called "Mont Blanc", yes after the highest mountain in France).You don't necessarily have to dislike chestnuts to not like (or love) creme de marrons !My order has arrived and so have l... "creme de marron" cake for dessert this week-end for the two of us and individual "Monts Blancs" for company newt week.!

I gave 4 stars because it was looking like the package was opened.Nevertheless you should try it if you love chestnut.

Delicious.
This stuff is amazing. A five star product. Giving it 3 stars because the packaging is dumb and my kids thought it was a go go squeeze and ate it directly from the pouch. I much prefer the old metal tube.

DELICIOUS!
In France, they use this in plain yogurt. It is absolutely addictive and I understand why it's such a popular product. I follow an American living in Paris and she posted this product as one of her faves - found it here and ordered it. Not sure what else you could use this for but it's great on plain yogurt.

Easy to use, great taste
I used this chestnut jam to make a filling for a cake, and it was perfect. The packages are easy to use, the size was just enough for one recipe so I didn't have open leftover pouches. The flavor was great, lots of compliments.
