Plenty of room and pockets. Packs down small very easily for when not in use. Well made, comfortable to wear, great colour and a good price. Bought to carry towels, washing up kit, books etc to go on holiday and it does the job well. Mesh pockets for drinks bottles are really good to have. Survives train travel far better than the one it replaced. Considering buying another one for family member.

This is really the lightest and most roomy rucksack I've had to date. It is a very good extra bag when traveling or long weekenddee bag. However, it's not the best for work use like carrying laptop and other office stuff unless you don't mind weight shifts when in motion. Also, it's flexible form means you need to secure the things in something lime an inner bag or be prepared for the hunt to find them. It's not overpriced and I also like the chest bar as it keeps it in place on my shoulders. Unlike others I didn't have to unbuckle it to sit as its pliable. Thumbs up for weekend getaways or camping. Not so much for work kit. Love the colour though.

The rucksack was good, cheap and functional. The straps could do with more padding for a 40L pack, but were adequate for short distance. I would not want to carry a 40L load for any length of time over an hour.

I bought this for a holiday as I needed something super light but durable. I do a lot of hiking, and have a few high-end, technical backpacks for day hikes and overnight trips, but most of them are heavy and bulky and not ideal if you need to travel light on a plane, or want an extra bag with you for those 'just in case' moments.This bag did the job perfectly for what I needed. It packed up small enough to put in my cabin bag and when unpacked I used it when hiking, for days at the beach and for carrying food shopping. It has lots of pockets and compartments, which I found very handy – especially when keeping my damp beach towel separate from things like my phone. It held up well when fully loaded with food shopping, including with 2 x 1.5l sized water bottles, a bottle of wine, fruit, veg and so on, so it seems pretty durable.Just keep in mind that in order to make bags like this lightweight, you lose out on things like padding on the shoulder straps, or having a waist strap, so it can get a bit uncomfortable if you're carrying a lot of weight for a long time.I found this bag to be splash proof and it held up well up in a light drizzle of rain but it's not fully waterproof. One of my water bottles leaked and soaked right through the bag. But that's kind of to be expected with such a lightweight bag. When it comes to backpacks, there are always comprises in terms of things like waterproofing and padding on straps. The more features and comforts, the heavier the bag. Having owned a lot of backpacks over the years I knew what to expect from a lightweight pack, but this bag exceeded my expectations.

Feels more like a 30 litre rather than 40 litre bag which is dissapointing since I needed to pack more things but but I'll give it 3 starts just for the decent quality

This is the perfect rucksack for me, as a cyclist I needed something breathable and light and got both, the bag is not wide enough to cause aerodynamic drag but big enough for a weeks worth of food! Its got security pockets and large outside bottle pockets to store your drinks, I have not yet tested how waterproof it is though but still gets full stars, dont be put off by the way its packaged.

Nothing put to use yet but looks sturdy and will hold a lot of stuff. Packs down to a good size
