Love the beauty and quality of this ladle. It has a shorter handle than most which is what I wanted. Works just fine.I only hand-wash it as I want it to keep it's finish as long as possible.

A little shorter than I thought, but perfect for all my needs. Switched out all our black plastic utensils for wood. The laden is strong, easy to hand wash, and holds a good amount of liquids.

Loved it , very good quality and looks nice in my kitchen, the size is ok, but I wish the handle would a little but longer .

I've replaced all my black plastic utensils and I was looking for a good ladle. This is a beautiful, lightweight and generous serving size item. If you intend on using this for deep stock pots, the handle is too short for that. If like me, you're going to scoop your soup or whatever it is you're making out of a Dutch oven it should be just fine. Remember once a month to coat it with food grade mineral oil to keep it looking its best. It's recommended that you don't submerge it in water for any length of time because it will cause damage to the item.

Very pretty, just the right length, handle is at the right angle, and the spoon bowl is deep and scoops out a good amount of soup or chili.

Arrived quickly AND looks great. One thing we did find out quickly: using a normal ladle, it drips almost constantly; with this wooden ladle, it hardly drips at all! Holding against a normal ladle against this one, the underside slope is not as extreme as in normal ladles. Really!
