Great value. Reasonable quality & brightness. Lacks some features found in more technical models.
Great value. Looks good. Nice to get a two-pack to have one as a backup. I recommend using Lithium AAA for longer life than Alkaline. Beam is closer to 120 lumens at high and maybe 50 lumens low. Strobe is as bright as high with a very rapid blink, but I have seen faster. While the switch has to be clicked to turn on, once it is on, you can press the switch lightly to change modes. And with fewer modes you can get to the strobe fast in the first cycle of modes... which is bright, low, strobe. It does have a memory of last mode used and seems to go to the next mode from when it was turned off while the memory is in effect. However, it will not be replacing my 80 lumen OLight i3 EOS that I wear on my key ring attached to my belt loop. The OLight has four power modes, including a super low mode, which conserves battery power when all you need is a small amount of light. While there is a gasket on the tail cap threads, there is no gasket on the light-head threads. So, I wouldn’t trust it to run in very wet conditions. It might, but I wouldn’t take that chance if I really had to depend on it. I suppose I could add a gasket and test it, but why re-engineer? Just get what you need. Plus, I don’t know how well the beam is sealed. Machining looks ok, but I’ve seen smoother thread cuts on more expensive lights. Switch seems ok, but it is not heavy duty and at one point my clicks must have been too light because I couldn’t turn it on without giving it two firm clicks. No problem after that.It will not stand on its tail like my previous light. You would need to use a clothes pin or putty, etc. to have it stand. Also, while some lights with push button tail caps can be left on and have the head unthreaded enough to make it a twist-on/off type or to act as a safety to keep it from turning on in a pocket or bag, the cap and head both unthread from the tube before the light shuts off. So, this is a pure tail cap switch light. The light is also a bit large for a single AAA light. See photo. The pocket clip wraps only a little more than halfway around the tube. It seems pretty tight, but a longer wrap would secure the clip to the tube more. Some things that are nice about it: The tailcap has two small holes on its rim that can receive a lanyard or a small key ring. This is better than models that have a loop or triangle connector whose ends converge inside the cap. They simply spread under strain or regular wear and come off. The ability to take a small key ring with multiple loops is more durable and gives more options for securing it to a lanyard or keychain or small carabiner. The reflector is polished rather than orange peel, so there is a more focused beam but still with some helpful scatter. Despite being a bit long for a single AAA unit, it is still light in weight and not a straw that will break the camel’s back. The pocket clip can be repositioned to clip the light in up or down position, but it’s easier to just swap the ends that the tail and head are on (and turn the battery around.) Doing so also puts those large knurls closer to the head. I think that gives a better grip and keeps your fingers further from the head when it heats up.Alrightee then! I love flashlights, so it’s a fun challenge to write a detailed review. I hope my observations are helpful to you. One of these lights will be taped to my drone to make it easier to see for night flying. I’ll keep the other for a belt or dog collar strobe when walking poochie.

Real Good Small Flashlight For The Money
I own several AAA flashlights already as that is the battery standard I chose to keep the weight of what I carry low. My standard pocket flashlight for many years has been the Maglite LED Solitaire. The Hatori 3.55 inch with 3 light modes is the one I purchased and the one I'm reviewing. I will be using the Maglite LED Solitaire as a standard. I also want to point out that I'm using standard Rayovac alkaline batteries in all my flashlights. In my opinion they are a good value of performance and cost.Maglite Solitaire:Operates off 1 AAA battery.Lumens is 47 per factory specs.Runtime is roughly 2 hours continuous (factory states 1hr 45min).Can rotate the head from flood to spot.Good drop and water resistance (I've carried them in my back pocket for years and have only had 1 fail after a couple of years, these are tough flashlights.)A lanyard to attach it to various things. I've attached one to a small carabiner on my backpack straps.Hatori 3.55inchOperates off 1 AAA battery.Lumens is about 120 on high beam and about 35 on low beam. Strobe is bright and flashes rapidly.Runtime is roughly 1 1/2 hours continuous on high beam and roughly 6 1/2 hours continuous on low beam.Beam is spot only but very bright on the high setting. It's easy to click through the beam settings. One full press to turn it on, then a second half press for the next setting, then another half press for the next setting, and so on. You don't have to turn it off and on each time to change the beam setting.I've done some unscientific drop tests and getting them wet tests and have observed no issues.Comes with a clip attached so you can affix it to something.I hope they do hold up as so far I'm impressed with the price, the light settings, battery life on the low beam, and initial durability. At the price they currently are, I've purchased 4 of them.I'm not giving up on my Maglites either. I have some XL50's, XL200's, Maglite Minis, and various other ones. My Maglites have always been durable and long lasing performers. I wish they had something like the Solitaire with different beam settings when battery life is needed over a brighter light.

Great Flashlights at a better than fair price
I used to order or buy the Streamlight pocket flashlight for everyday use in my work until I found this light. So much brighter than the Streamlight and so much less expensive as well. So far so good. It works well but I do go thru batteries very similar to the Streamlight so I keep spare AAA batteries in my pocket to replace as needed. Yes, I use the light constantly while working. It's very lightweight, convenient, easy to turn on/off, has three modes (Flash, bright, dim), and is water resistant. Overall, well worth it!

Cool light, may be a lemon
These lights are a great size and weight. I got them for working in a restaurant where some guest need a light to help them read the menu. These lights have the perfect size and build for the job. The 3 light settings are nice but it would have been better if there was one dimming setting. I would have given a better review if it were not for two things. First off, the lights are not wired equally. One starts in strobe mode on first click while the other starts in bright mode. This is not a huge deal but I prefer bright mode and consistency. My major complaint is one light has given out after one day of use. It will turn on sometime and turn off shortly after. Returning and searching for a more dependable product.

Good for money
These are pretty good lights. Compared to the streamlight model these mimic, they're great. The pocket clip comes off easily which is frustrating, but they're good n bright. Been dropped in puddles and to the ground from a waist height and still work well. Would consider buying again. Would prefer one single bright (high) mode light instead.
