Fixed harmonic noise that caused flickering LED lights
I have an EG4 6000XP inverter and I was getting flickering LED lights which appeared to be due to harmonic noise (not related to high loads or loose connections). This device reduced the flicker almost entirely. Definitely recommend as a point of use device (since it's only rated to 10A).

Helps with fluctuating RPM readings.
I am using a VFD with my lathe. This EMI filter did help with the fluctuating readings on the digital tach that amazon sells.

Good value, good performance
This works well for reducing conducted emission and conducted susceptibility. It obviously cannot do much about radiated emission/susceptibility. It's well built and the price is right.

UL Recognition mark in photo, but not on the filter I received.
Photo shows UL Recognition mark on the filter. When I received it, there is no UL mark. (Reverse UR) AC Line connected devices should have safety certification. Either UL, CSA or ETL. I'm returning it unused.

Nice noise reducer for motors with speed controls
Putting almost any AC motor on a speed control usually results in the motor humming/buzzing. Putting one of these between the speed control and motor cuts it way down. Most are larger (and more effective) but for a small motor these are small enough to fit in back of a deep single gang box behind the speed control.

did not reduce static in FM radio from LED Shop lights.
was hoping it would stop interference from LED lights in shop from causing static on FM radio also in shop. Made no change - static interference same as before wiring it into outlet. Stereo works great until lights are turned on.

Un filtro ideal para suprimir las interferencias que provocan muchas lámparas decorativas de LEDs; por norma debería venir integrado en la fuente de la lámpara. Colóquelo a la entrada de la corriente en la fuente de alimentación de la lámpara, corte los cables lo más que se pueda.
