I used to repair Dell computers at an Dell authorized servicer until I retired. My daughter in-law has the Dell G3 3579 notebook with fan issues. I ordered these and they are the exact same size and mounting for her notebook. Ran diagnostics and everything passes and the fans do not fail the diagnostics. They sound the same as Dell fans when they are running to cool the CPU and video. I would purchase again if they last.

Fit perfect in DELL G3 as describe!

My G3579 had the infamous noisy fans. After installation, just normal air moving noises. Was good that these were replaced as I discovered that the fins on the heat pipes were clogged with dust as well. Dell needs to add more plastic to the portion of the lid held down by screws. After taking the lid off, saw that the lid plastic under the 2 screws came off with the screws.

Works GREAT. I would recommend. Also, I ordered during the pandemic. At the time, I was supposed to get 2 fans and only received one. I figured there might be a shipping back up due to cOV id shenanigans. Two months later I emailed the company and they sent me a new ORDER within a few days. Very impressed

It's easy to replace coolers on DELL G3. Now it's quiet and cool again.

They work well! They were easy to install, only about 5 minutes. Very quiet!

The fans in my wife's G3 were shot and would rattle loudly when in use. Bought these as a replacement and they were simple enough to install. Just the screws to take off the bottom of the laptop and 2 screws on each of the fans. Have to be careful pulling the cable out of the socket when taking out the original fans though, be sure to pull from the plastic portion at the base and not the cables themselves. The fans were quieter but the one that is installed on the left (which was the one that really broke on the original set) still rattles a tiny bit and can hear a low rumbling from them. The price is decent for the two fans but I don't expect them to last either since one of them is already noisy.
