Great quality and very white prints on black fabric
Good stuff, prints well on black microfiber sunglass cases. I can get very white print or semi white depending on my methods and that is exactly as it should be.. UPDATE: I got a new 180 mesh screen and this ink don't like it. Due to the thickness of the ink it is difficult to get enough ink to transfer through the screen and when I do, because of the small holes it sucks some of the ink back off the fabric. The ink is too thick and when I pull the screen up, the suction don't pull the ink out of the mesh, the mesh sucks the ink back off the fabric in places. I got some half way decent results but wasted a bunch of bags because I just kept on trying different techniques. So there goes some bucks down the drain for my new aluminum 180 mesh screen. I think I'm going to buy some latex paint tomorrow and try that, then thin it as needed to see if I can salvage and use that nice aluminum frame with 180 mesh screen and the nice diazo emulsion stencil I made. I am also going to make a new screen out of 100 count mesh, like my old screen but using the new the speedball emulsion kit. The speedball emulsion kit works pretty well but you have to go fast and spread it thin. Oh well, at least I got the emulsion kit so I can do it right when I make the new screen with 100 mesh. One last thing, that is, uh, kinda funny. I just noticed on the ink container that it says in BOLD LETTERS this ink is not for nylon... WHAT? I'm on my 3rd jar of this ink and I'm just about certain the microfiber bags I am printing are NYLON. So.... The ink seems to work fine, if I have time I let it air dry. If I'm in a hurry I apply the ink thin and heat cure it with a heat gun and a laser thermometer at 200 degrees. I have to heat it once, cool it down to about 70 degrees then reheat it back to 200 again. I usually can get the ink completely cured and dried doing this but not always. Much better to be able to give it few days to air dry. ~

Great ink!
I've used some pearls before, but not this specific one. Obviously, I've been looking for a way for white to not crack, so I tried this pearl white. I liked that it was a little thinner than plain white and it went on really nice. It's kind of an off white, not silver and not white. Like an actual pearl maybe. I didn't have to use any more than with any other color, probably less actually because it isn't as thick. I have high hopes that it won't crack as much since it didn't have to be gobbed on. I'm not sure how it would do on black, but I've used a multitude of colors so far (65% poly/35% cotton) and it was fantastic. I also used a slightly textured surface under it in hopes it will also help it to not crack. I'll update if I notice cracking. My only complaint is that it did seem to gum up my screen more than other colors. Maybe that will mean it won't crack as much? I only got about 3 shirts done before my screen need scrubbed out. I don't make a ton of shirts so it's not a big deal, but for those that do, be aware. Otherwise, it worked great.

Ink holds up better than the shirt I used it on.
The is great ink. This was one of my first screen printings and this ink was great to work with, filled in the design nicely and didn't clump or run. The two pictures show when I first made it and then today, over 30+ washes. The ink has kept up better than the shirt material itself, making it very durable. Even after all those cleaning cycles, the text still looks great. Definitely worth the money for this one.

Great metallic paint for fabric painting or dying.
This ink is perhaps the best gold screen printing ink I have used. It doesn't give the effect of foiling, but anyone expecting a foil-like sheen should just buy foils and not mess with inks. However, with that said, this is a beautiful opaque gold with a nice metallic shimmer to it. It goes great on dark and light fabrics undiluted, however, it can be thick and make the fabric a little stiff. One of my favorite uses for it, is to mix it 1:1, or 1:2 with water, and dip fabric in to the dye bath. Between each dying, I let it air dry, iron it, and then repeat it until I get the desired gold shade. It does make the fabric a little stiff, but after a washing it softens a bit and maintains the gold hue. The darker the fabric, the higher concentration of dye, and more rounds it will take in the dye bath.

Love this Product, will Always Use It
I purchased my first jar 4 years ago, and I was still using it up until last year with great results! I had to buy another one because I lost my other jar. Speedball provides high quality paints that last a long time if kept well. The color is very nice as well. I print with this color on black and the images always come out clean and vibrant. I have a t-shirt printed with this paint for over 3 years and it still looks great!

Looks good on dark fabric
Really happy with the color of this. I specifically got this to use on dark blue fabric and I was pleased to see that it worked well. It’s easy to use, and luckily it cleans up off surfaces if you make a little mess while working with it.

Good coverage. Applies nicely. Ink has a nice sparkle in it. Colour is nice but expected it to be a deeper violet and it was more of a lighter purple, worked ok for project i needed it for but disappointed as i was really hoping for a deep purple.

The ink is just the right consistency to pick out detail from the stencil and covers well. It seems rather expensive, but goes quite a long way and is worth it for the results. I'll be buying more.
