Sennheiser Headphone Accessory (504577)

I've got to preface this review by mentioning I use bluetooth headsets in a more demanding environment than most people probably do. I've been looking for the perfect bluetooth headset for quite a while and I've found that there are compromises with every one I've personally tried until now. As a contractor, I'm generally working in noisy environments (everything from generator rooms, trucks with inventory rattling, significant wind, etc.) and I've found that most headsets simply do not reject noise in any capacity. This limits the applicable environment to quiet office environments. Due to the design of this headset, I've found that people can still understand me pretty clearly and when you need to multitask by working with your hands and relay information hands free that becomes invaluable.There's nothing more frustrating than not being able to hear people clearly and I've found that the volume on this unit seems to be much more prominent than others on the market. Even with some background noise, voices are typically still intelligible. Some expensive products on the market, most notably the Plantronics Voyager Legend, failed miserably in all, but the most quiet of office environments (and is borderline unusable for any regular use).What are the cons? There is no question that the price will be a deterrent for many folks. Please note, it doesn't have the frills others may have like having names come across with incoming phone calls, but I consider that second to clarity. The center "multi-use" button is a bit difficult to hit at first, but you get used to the location with a little bit of practice.What about alternatives? I've found the Motorola H730 is a fantastic product for the price. I've found it to be more comfortable than the Jabra Talk, built better and has pretty good clarity as well as handles multipoint pairing in a user intuitive way, but it's still not as clear as this Sennheiser.Sennheiser is a respectable company. They've been well praised over the years for their pro audio equipment (cardioid microphones like their MD421 and large diaphragm condenser mics like the C414B are industry standards and still two of the best microphones to throw up on a guitar cab or other instruments). With products like that, they've carried their name to this bluetooth market and while you may pay more than a lot of the competitors, you're getting proper sound reproduction and I'm confident in the sustainability of the product. The only regret I have is not picking this one up sooner. Forget about the Plantronics products that are notorious for failing, the Sennheiser Presence is making some serious waves.

Good quality and long lifetime battery

I used this Bluetooth for many years. It's still one of the best if not the best earpiece I used till date. Good battery life and loud and clear voice call after years of use. Helping a friend to buy this Bluetooth earpiece, all my friends I recommended have no regrets getting this earpiece.

Isn't really worth the price. Audio quality didn't seem that great. It's alright though.

I have tired most high end bluetooth headsets, and this one is by far the best. It has much longer battery time than my Bose Series 2.When I first received the headset, it did not support Siri on my iPhone 6 Plus. However once I updated the headset firmware, it now works perfectly with Siri. Just press the headset smart button for two seconds and Siri will come on. You will have to download the Sennheiser Updater software from the Sennheiser website.

its pretty good product, very happy so far

I am not impressed by this bluetooth. Its was expensive and really does not have the quality associated with price paid. The volume is not loud enought, the range from my phone is about 3 ft before it starts to distort, the over the ear piece hurts and finally, no one can tell the diffence brtween my $35.00 motorolia or this 192.00 item with s&h.
