OMG - watch your fingers. Rather than use in the garden, I bought this stuff to pin around the edge of my new sofa to keep my indoor kitties from using it as a scratching post. It was easy to install with upholstery pins and worked beautifully. Maybe too well - I had to be careful when I sat to make sure my legs didn't come into contact with the 'points.' I also trimmed it to use on the back of some new dining room chairs, although with less success. The plastic doesn't bend around corners well, so the cats were able to find areas between strips of Scat Mat to scratch. I imagine if I had issues in the yard this would be an awesome product. It is heavy duty; I trimmed it with kitchen scissors, but it is thick enough that trimming is not a quick process (more like one link at a time). I totally recommend it.

While I didn't use this prickle strip for the original purpose in my garden, I had house cats continually jumping on top of my washer and drier and peeing there. Once the prickle strip was put in place, that bad behavior stopped, immediately! I am thrilled to have found such an easy, inexpensive, harmless solution to my bad feline behavior problem, and will be purchasing more to put in my garden to protect from the wild neighborhood cats.

I bought if to use in the garden.I now use it in my home to prevent our cat from lying on the furniture when we are away.It is 100% effective.I no longer have to apply chemicals to prevent animals from going places that the shouldn't.If you have that problem, here is your solution!

I purchased this item because our chicken roosts on our patio table & grill... & we've tried SO MANY things to deter her. She has trashed it all - and made huge messes in the process.This arrived yesterday, so I put pieces of it out on her main roosting spots.... & she slept elsewhere last night! YAY!!This item comes in a roll, & you can easily cut (with scissors) into the size & shape you need.I gave less than 5 stars because you have to weight down the edges, but I'm not sure how the manufacturer could change that... It's a great product and very easy to use! I recommend it!

This product looked to have closer spacing on the spikes then some of the others. Rabbit feet are small so large spaces aren't a good bet. This does have some pins to hold it in place in the ground. I only had one plant to protect and the amount here was just barely adequate. For larger areas you might want more.

The only downside to this product is that it is a bit difficult to lay flat since it comes rolled up. I anchored it under the door part way (where I need the cats to stay away from) and they've not disturbed that area since! Works great! Finally something that works after trying other products, I am happy with this one. Highly recommend.

I bought this to use on my golf cart seat to keep the cats off and it has done that. As far as ease of use goes, the fact that it is rolled up and has spikes makes it a bit uncomfortable to get it unrolled, cut and laying flat. But, the spikes are what makes it work so that is not really a detriment. It is a lot better than using the moths balls I was using before getting this!

I've bought this Anti Cat Spike Mat for my small garden because someone's cat came and used it as toilet. I placed it spikes down because we had lots of very windy days and I didn't want it blow away. And seem like it works also, I didn't see cat's traces anymore. So my purchase worth the money. It easy to use, I cut it on little rectangles and placed it around my plants.

Put these in the soil to stop cats pooing and it worked

Works brilliantly, I had to cut into pieces due to plant locations and the *******cat went in the smallest gaps in between! It seems to have given up now though. Pretty sharp so careful!

I purchased this to keep our cat off a border where we have just planted lots of plants and added a water feature. She has not been there since.
