Good quality and work well
I have earlier versions of these that use AA batteries. They work well. The idea of adding a rechargeable battery makes sense. I have had the AA battery units in my cars for years and then tested them and found the batteries were fine. But, it is possible they would have died after years in the trunk. The rechargeable battery could be recharged from the car battery using a cell phone charger (standard USB included). Even with a low battery that won't start a car, there's enough "juice" to run a cell phone or charge these.I think the rechargeable concept is a good idea. Otherwise, these work as well as the previous models. In practical use, these things are bright! I have driven along the road and there was a car on the side of the road with at least 3 of these running that circular pattern. You would have to be blind not to see this from quite a distance. These are so much better and safer than the open-flame traditional road flares. And, these last far longer than the traditional road flare. Being magnetic and with a built-in plastic hook/hanger in the back, there are options for getting them up higher such as on your roof or on the back of your RV or trailer, for example. For the cost of these things, I think it's a no-brainer to get them. And, the little case to hold them makes a difference. It's just easier, so go for that, too.Short story: One time my alternator died and the battery ran down. The car died. I was stuck on a highway at night in a pelting rainstorm in a dark red car. My 3-way flashers would not even work. I figured at any moment, I would get rear-ended because there was almost no shoulder. It was one of the only times I ever called 911. They came out and set up some flares until the tow truck arrived. Thankfully. After that, I started carrying flares. That was years and years ago. Since then, these LED units were invented and I switched to those.I have sets of 3 for each of my cars. Well worth the piece of mind, IMHO.

Bright, Reliable Road Flares That Recharge Easily
I picked up this 3-pack of Ecoangel LED road flares for roadside emergencies, and they’ve been a solid addition to my safety gear. The magnetic base sticks well to my car, which makes setup quick and hands-free. The USB rechargeable feature is super convenient — no more buying batteries all the time. The lights are bright and highly visible, which gives me peace of mind if I ever have to use them at night or in bad weather. They hold a charge well too. Overall, a dependable and practical safety tool I’m glad to have.

Great value for the money, bright , easy to use - not sure if they last
I bought and used the road flares to direct traffic at public events and so far I used them 3 times. First time it was dry , all went well and they recharged fine , all flares had green lights. On the second event is was raining , they worked well, bright , could be seen from far away and used them to guide traffic and pedestrians . I saw a normal pass car driving over one dot. After that I got now 4 green light ( fully charged) and 2 red after 24 h charging. The second pic shows the flare after the car drove over … still working , no issue , but you see the damage in the second pic …. The 30 ton crush withstanding must be a lab test , but not reality. Used all of them again the third time , lasted long time no issues , so I think the not charging is just just the status light not right , but they are working great

Great orientation and rechargeable.
They're very bright. We'll made, water proof with eight different strobe settings and a flashlight. Good warning markers. Get some.

Excellent quality as described and shipped fast
The media could not be loaded. These LED flares are exactly what you want: They’re bright, come partially charged, and live up to their reputation. They can hang, stand, sit, or magnetically stick wherever you need. Take a gander at my video and pics. The cord length is short. But they’re durable. Given the other options, I’d take these over others any day. Like I said, the media speaks for itself.
