DAS Air-Hardening Modeling Clay, 2.2 Lb. Block, White Color (387500)

This modeling clay is easy to work with and holds detail really well, making it great for both beginners and more experienced crafters. It’s soft enough to shape by hand but firm enough to keep its form, and it dries evenly without cracking when given proper time. I like that it doesn’t require baking, which makes projects simpler and more accessible. Once dry, it can be sanded and painted without any issues. Overall, it’s a dependable clay for a wide range of creative projects and a good value for the size.

I moat recently used this clay to create first Christmas ornaments with hand/footprints. Working with the clay was easy and relatively quick to knead and roll into the desired shape. Great to have on hand for fun projects with kids. Air drying is certainly convenient and overall this was mess free - just wash up with warm water. As a beginner in clay art I thought this was very easy to work with. It didn’t seem to dry out real fast and responded well to a wet sponge. I used it to make a mold and it worked very well.

I used this to attempt a custom MLP for a family members's birthday. I have never attempted anything like this before and was super nervous. The actual design of the mlp was not the best but this review is for the clay and the clay was probably the best part about the overall design. It dries quick without needing an oven and the when painted the colors showed up bright and saturated. I also got a TON of clay for the price. The clay is pretty cheap and cracked a bit here and there but I also had no idea what I was doing. This was really cool to attempt and I still think that (with no experience or research) this turned out well!

I bought this after seeing it recommended from a YouTube content provider. It is a good product overall. This review is more directed toward my own experience on the ease of use and should not be seen as negative to the product itself. I have a feeling this product is more geared to someone who has reasonable experience with other types of media, such as clay, cold porcelain, etc. Using this for me was tricky. I found that I needed to moisten the product many times to get it to a consistency to be able to manipulate it. It's helpful if you have a knife or other tool to shear off what amount you need as the Das is a bit hard to just pull pieces off. It has an unadulterated consistency that is reminiscent of paper mache' that is very compact and does not contain much moisture,. One aspect I am not sure of is how you can obtain a smooth surface with this when molding, etc. My test project while moist had faults and lines through it. My second project was to use the Das clay to mold a positive to use as a base. For this, as I had found my test piece, though it dried hard, was not as hard as I had hoped for. To aid this I mixed PVA glue into the clay before pressing it into the mold. It dried much harder but it still had creasing and such, which for this project was fine. The biggest positive of using Das is that you can sand it and paint it with relative ease after it has dried. One thing to note, if you are using it in a mold, it can take many days to fully dry, and pulling it from the mold can be tricky without messing up parts that are still moist. Overall this is a useful product, isn't priced in such a way as to be prohibitive for someone who has never used it to give it a try. In skilled hands, I am sure this delivers end results as shown on the packaging. But if you are a novice like myself, you may want to work up to sculpting with Das.

Easy to use. Easy to roll out thin. It’s soft out of the package. And it’s easy to refill and mix together after cutting it. No weird smell. A little residue on your hands but it’s not bad. Dried quickly.

First one came in with a small tear in the bag. Which made the clay around the year hard. Company immediately replaced the clay and now I am happy with this purchase as well as with the customer service.

Yaşken açık gri ama kuruyunca beyaz oluyor. Içinde tutkal vs malzemeler var sanırım, bu dokusunu biraz değiştirmiş normal kile kıyasla ama kırılmiyor, dayanıklı sadece çok az eziliyor darbe aldığı yerden.

Gerçekten diğer kil markalarına göre das süper bir ürün. Tamamen şekil alabilen ve dağılmayan yapısı muazzam.
