Zhiyun Crane 2S Combo [Official] 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer for DSLR Cameras

I am beyond happy for this purchase of the Zhiyun Crane 2S. For my Black Magic Pocket cinema camera 4K, I knew I needed a high quality gimbal but I also wanted versatility. The crane 2s compliments these two needs perfectly. Carbon fiber feels great. Dual grip is perfect and much more accessories are available vie small rig! 10/10 would recommend for prosumer/pro filmmakers and videographers. Battery is good. Had no issues with overheating. Feels super comfortable in my grip.Oh and shipping was 9 days early!!Thank you Zhiyun.

The gimbal has not performed correctly out of the box. Even though it is balanced well, it still vibrates when at certain angle. I have messaged them several times. they ghave ignored my requests. I finally needed to use it to shoot, so I took it out and made sure to not hold it at the angles where I know it vibrates. Over the course of the shoot, it changed modes by itself and would rotate 1800 degrees back towards the operator on its own. The front trigger button broke from normal use after maybe ten spots. I have sent more messages to tech support and they ignore the problems and just talk to me about the vibrating. Umm, this thing is CLEARLY NOT OPERATING CORRECTLY. We have bigger fish to fry than exactly how the cage is connect to the base plate. Don't buy this piece of garbage.

Have to totally rewrite this 1 star review to a 3 star review.Originally I did not see several parts that were supposed to be included in the box, like the screws. But I found the screws hidden under a few of the USB cables in a box. They were not in the empty compartment I saw which, the YouTube video said was the compartment that had the screws. So the fact that I did indeed have that compartment but it was empty made me think they were missing. I checked under all the other parts but it wasn't until I opened the USB wires box AND took the USB wires out that the screws finally appeared. That's still frustrating.Especially because there still is NO manual. I know things are online now but at least have SOMETHING inside that at least tells me the URL for the online manual. A QR code... something.The batteries... looks like they can't be charged while inside the crane which is a HUGE missed opportunity. Just about every electronic device except remote controls have batteries that can be charged while inside the technology. When I first tried charging the batteries I used an existing USB-C wire I have plugged into the wall - it didn't work. I used the one that came with the crane and THAT worked. But why wouldn't my existing Apple USB-C wire work? Hrm. Another weird limitation to how I can charge the batteries. At least I finally saw the red lights on the battery charger to know if it was charging or not. That's how most battery chargers are; one light to represent charging and another to say it's charged. But I really wish others followed in DJI's footsteps... their Mini 2 drone batteries have 5 lights in a row and each light represents another percentage of battery progress. I can see at a glance if the battery is charged 25% or 50% or 75%... and a gimbal is something that can be used in fast paced situations and it'd be SO much more helpful if we could know more about the battery power before putting them into the crane (which has it's own battery status that does give you more info... but I need that before spending time popping the batteries in - although having this info on the crane screen is another reason they should allow you to charge the batteries internally!)The case looks pretty cool but it's legitimately styrofoam. Be careful with it. This is NOT a Pelican case, in any way, shape or form. This case is simply for carrying - I don't see it as being protective at all. Even the black levers to open it feel breakable if I'm not very careful.Aside from that, balancing is easy - too easy. I was shocked. The option second handle seemed like it wouldn't do too much but it's AMAZING. What a small change is hand position can do.... it's like a normal push-up with hands squared up with your shoulders vs a pushup with your hands together in the triangle shape in the center of your chest. HUGE difference. Get the handle!I paired this with a Panasonic GH4. The one USB cable is supposed to work with Panasonic cameras, but not mine. The port on my camera is some micro-USB of some kind and no wire that came with the gimbal fit that port. That means I have yet to use the app when the app can show me what the camera sees. I was able to figure out how to set POINTS on the app for the gimbal to point the camera at. But (and I've emailed them about this) I wish the app allowed you to "boomerang" back and forth between 2-points indefinitely, to act like a motorized slider in a way that can move back and forth until you say stop.My only workaround is to set 4 points. 1: Point A, 2: Point B, 3: Point A again, 4: Point B again and that allows me a back and forth shot twice and I just have to manually press start again on the app. Not a workaround I can keep with though.The original 1-star was because I thought tons of things were missing. I'm glad I found most. But I still think you should have, if not the actual manual, something to point you to the online manual. I saw some info in the app but even then the app has all the other devices too and it's a bit hard to navigate. Also shocked there wasn't any document about registering your product - but I guess that's what the app registration is for too? Again though - have something in the box that says "You register with the app. The manual is in the app or on this website" etc.

Après interrogation de l’assistance de Zhiyun, il s’avère que certaines compatibilités annoncées ne sont pas vraies. J’ai le sentiment d’avoir été « arnaqué » par Zhiyun. Si j’avais eu connaissance de cette incompatibilité avec mon appareil photo, je n’aurais pas pris ce modèle.

El salto en calidad y potencia de los motores merece mucho la pena. Así como la forma de éste gimbal que ahora no me obliga a tener los brazos flexionados para levantar la cámara en altura sino que tengo un mejor equilibrio en la postura. Es grande pero no es pesado. Es unos pocos gramos más que el weebill pero mucha mayor potencia de motor lo que me permite poner mi Pocket 4k con cage y espero en un futuro la 6kpro.Y ópticas pesadas como el sigma 18-35.Al principio de usarlo tuve un problema con el motor de Tilt, pero el servicio técnico dio un nuevo firmware que lo arreglaba, hay que estar atentos a las actualizaciones si tienes la menor duda de que pueda haber un problema. El motor trabaja perfectamente en 30-50 de potencia, al contrario de lo que mucha gente piensa que hay que colocarlo en "bajo" bien equilibrado puede demostrar su fuerza.

The media could not be loaded.  Ero molto scettico riguardo gli stabilizzatori 3 assi elettronici, il 20 anni di produzioni video ho sempre usato le steadycam ma per delle riprese che dovevo effettuare per un lavoro non potevo utilizzarla perchè troppo ingombrante allora ho deciso di prendere questo gimbal e mi pento di non averlo fatto prima, perchè la mobilità che ti da è veramente ottima e la stabilizzazione tramite i sui 3 motori brushless è davvero efficace.Arriva in una scatola di cartone con dentro contenente la custodia in polistirolo duro e resistente.il gimbal deve essere prima attivato, io tramite il mio mi5 ci sono riuscito in poco tempo, dopo di che una volta bilanciato è veramente un ottimo compagno di lavoro e ti permette sempre tramite la sua app di avere delle libertà espressive che prima si sognavano un esempio è la rotazione a 360 gradi della camera.La app ti permette di effettuare dei buoni se non ottimi contenuti video come per esempio Panorama, il Timelapse, il Motionlapse o la Long Exposure Timelapse.tutto questo grazie al suo software che riesce ad interfacciarsi con la propria macchina fotografia o cinepresa come nel mio caso.Ottimo acquisto

The media could not be loaded.  Disclaimer: I'm a YouTube video creator, and Zhiyun asked me to try this gimbal and give my honest opinion.I've been a longtime user of the Zhiyun Crane 2, and it was one of my favourite gimbals ever. If you can't be bothered to watch the video above, the bottom line is this gimbal is just great. I never use any of the fancy modes, or crazy features that come with gimbals. I need gimbals to have a decent payload, and have great battery life – the new Crane 2S does both of these exceptionally well, and is a joy to use.
