Interesting
The first thing to note is that this is a lot more than your standard recipe book. It features advice on hydration, sleep, lifestyle choices, goal setting and keeping motivated among other things. The recipes themselves are fairly simple, mostly with 6-10 ingredients, but are made interesting by the use of herbs and spices. You certainly do not need to be a qualified chef to attempt any of them. The recipes come from many different cuisines around the world, but also have some things included like Lancashire hotpot and ham, egg and chips. I'm not sure recipes like these, or the simple smoothie recipes at the beginning of the book, are really worthwhile but there is enough variety elsewhere in the book. A few things that people may love or hate make many appearances, such as feta and chorizo. The majority of the meat dishes have a vegetarian substitution at the bottom of the page. The food photography is mostly very good. The training plan features many simple exercises that work most of the muscles in the body. You will need a pair of dumbbells if you plan to attempt all of them. It's pretty much the sort of thing you would attempt in a gym circuits or HIIT class. There then follows a very specific 30 day meal plan, which also tells you to exercise 5 days per week. How much use these plans are will vary very much from person to person I am sure.Overall, it's an interesting book which is a little different from the norm. The recipes are quite varied while being simple to prepare. Featuring a chapter on exercising is unusual, but everything in this chapter is well-explained.For completeness the contents page looks like this:Introduction 4Reduced carb 30Snacks 132Post workout 144The training plan 222The 30 day plan 260Index 265The full list of recipes:PBJ smoothieChai spiced banana smoothieGolden smoothieBlueberry smoothieCarrot, orange and ginger smoothieElvis pancakesManchego, chilli jam and olive frittataSpicy Turkish scrambled eggsSage butter chicken with lemony spring greensBlackened cod with pico de gallo salsa and smashed avoSteak with hazelnut romesco and green beansSesame cauliflower, pomegranate and mixed herb salad with tahini dressingWasabi tuna mayo 'poke bowl'Tuna, white bean, marinated feta and salsa verdeSalmon with tarragon crème fraîche and garlicky spinachChipolatas in onion gravy with carrot and parsnip mashPrawn and lemongrass coconut curry with mange toutCumin-spiced lamb and feta fattoushSeared steak, blue cheese, pear and watercressPoached salmon with cream cheese and chive scrambled eggsCayenne pollock with minted pea yoghurt sauce and baby gemSteak fajita fried eggsPaprika prawn, corn and cheddar chowderGrilled chicken cobb saladChorizo niçoise saladBeef bulgogiSoy, five spice and orange chicken with little treesSausage shakshukaSmoked mackerel with horseradish yoghurt and parsnip rostiCurried lamb steaks with coconut yoghurt and coriander chutneyPork chop with grilled peach, mozzarella and watercressCurried cottage pieGrilled lamb chops with warm hummus, quick pickled red onions and pistachiosBalsamic steak with goat's cheese, rocket and cherry tomatoesCreamy turkey, mushroom and courgette stroganoffThai green pork lettuce cupsSpicy chicken curry soupSaag paneer with cauliflower riceChargrilled chicken with mojo verdeAlmond butter satay chicken with Asian slawSalt and pepper prawns with sweet chilliSteak hachéSeeded chicken schnitzel saladLamb and pea keemaSweetcorn fritters with chorizo and mango and avocado salsaCacciatore chicken with mixed olives and fetaMediterranean halloumi traybakeSea bass with pesto and charred courgette chilli and mintSmoky chorizo mixed bean stewCoronation chicken saladChicken souvlaki with tzatziki, sliced tomato and olivesTomato, fennel and fish stewBeetroot and feta patties with pomegranate molasses and tomato saladTurkey and red pepper panang curryTomato-baked cod with capers and pine nutsParma ham and sundried tomato parmigianaTikka masala, halloumi and chickpea kachumbaPeanut butter, mushroom, spinach and tomato stewCreamy coconut, carrot and sweet potato soup with chilli paneer croutonsBoiled egg protein pot with spinach and tahiniTurkey, brie and cranberry sausage rollsPeri peri popcorn chickenWalnut and roasted red pepper dipDark chocolate, almond and sea salt clustersChicken phoBeef cobbler with chive and horseradish dumplingsKale and walnut pesto gnocchiLancashire hotpotChorizo chilaquilesTurkey meatballs and harissa spaghettiJoe's mustardy ham, egg and chipsCajun-style prawns with lime sweet potato mashChicken and chorizo filo pieLamb rogan joshCarbonara risottoBlack bean, quinoa and sweet potato chilliSoy mushroom banh miTandoori chicken burger with cucumber raitaVietnamese sticky salmon with coconut riceBombay potato hash with halloumiChimichurri steak with mixed grainsSausage, fennel and chilli rigatoniBroccoli and anchovy penne with toasted pumpkin seedsMoroccan-spiced carrot, pomegranate and hazelnut wild riceSesame tahini ramenPasta and chickpea stewParma ham and pesto poached egg bagelHoisin turkey pancakesPrawn and chorizo orzo jambalayaSalmon puttanesca linguineGreen lentil spinach daal with poached egg and crispy onionsBaked aromatic chicken and pistachio pilauCod with olive tapenade, tomatoes and couscousSatay broccoli and egg fried riceSingapore prawn noodlesChipotle turkey tacosChipolatas with balsamic lentilsGarlicky greens and poached egg grain bowl with toasted seedsPork with roasted red pepper and riceChicken shawarma and mixed grain tabboulehSalmon and new potato colcannonLentil sloppy JoeChicken quinoa primavera

Flavour!
Quick, simple, amazing recipes. Incredible flavour. I've used this recipe book exclusively for three weeks now - a different recipe every day and haven't found a meal that isn't explodingly delicious yet.Brilliant thing is that they're all for one person, which makes adapting to different size groups so easy with no difficult calculations (eg adapting a recipe for four to seven). Also Slimming World friendly or easily adaptable.Top marks!

Great cook and lifestyle book with delicious recipes
I received this book on the day of release and absolutely love this book and the recipes. My husband and I have cooked several of the recipes and have not been disappointed yet. We also love that they are simply to make which is great during the week after working and dealing with our children. The exercises at the back are also great with the instructions on how to do the exercise correctly. It also include three stages of exercises which can be chosen for your own level of fitness.Love the recipes and we are looking forward to trying more of them!

A fabulous plan to improve your health and fitness
I am a 54 year old woman who completed the 90 day plan over the summer with exactly the results I had hoped for - slimmer, fitter and more energetic. However, I felt a bit lost and needed some more motivation to continue. I didn’t go for the Graduate Plan as I am veggie and it didn’t cater for me.This book fills the gap and lots of the recipes have a veggie swap.My only suggestion would be to offer a way of working out how to reduce the ingredients to suit your loss as I am 5ft 1 and under 9 stone so I would need to cut the ingredients down to lose weight.

The bible of cookbooks
This cookbook (and all of Joe’s 15-Minute series) is the absolute bible of cookbooks! We relied on it heavily during lockdown to whip up delicious family meals that everyone loved, and we’ve continued to use it year after year because it’s so reliable and creates amazing healthy dishes.I’ve literally worked through every page, and you can tell—it’s been well-loved! I’ve dog-eared pages for my favorites and made notes in the margins for extra ingredients I like to add. The portion sizes are incredibly generous; when it says it serves one, it’s really more like one plus leftovers!I appreciate that you can make a nutritious family meal in just 30 minutes. Honestly, about 90% of my cooking comes from this book and the series. The cookbook itself is well-made and sturdy; after four years of nearly daily use, it’s still in great shape! If you’re looking for quick, easy, and healthy meals, look no further! Pick up this book and enjoy!

Awesome- Thanks Joe!
Awesome book!If you know and love Joe Wicks' other books, you will definitely love this book. I love how easy his recipes are and that my kids can eat the same food. I don't agree that this is just for single people. I use the recipes for the whole family and that consists of 2 adults and a 2 & 4 year old. You don't HAVE to stick to portion sizes specified (Joe says this in the book). I find they are a bit too big, my hubby finds them a bit small and the kids share one portion...as Joe stipulates; use your body as a guide and if you need a bit more or a bit less, do that. That all said, I'm not telling anyone to disregard his guides as they are a proven method to the results but it is just that - a guide.

The recipes don’t have calories on
I bought this to kick start healthy eating while hoping to be in a calorie deficit as I needed some new food ideas to keep me motivated. I was disappointed the calorie information for each meal wasn’t included - quite annoying, especially considering the book says his portions are generous and to reduce based on body type/ energy used!! I’ll have to translate some of the recipes into calories to be able to use as I’d hoped.
