Like them more than the airpods pro
So I own 4 noise canceling earbuds. airpods pro, sony sp800n, sony wf-1000xm3, and these. I have used these more than all of them. The sound these produce even with aac or sbc codecs is just great. a lot of people will say the thx branding is bs, and it kind of is especially considering razer owns thx, and there opus headphones didn't impress me, But the sound is still very good for a pair of wireless earbuds. These are just "fun" to listen to. These are the only pair of earbuds that I actually take to bed with me and listen to for 30-45 minutes before I fall asleep. The actual earbuds are a lot bigger than the airpods pro, but it doesn't bother me to much. now on the the aspects of the earbuds themselves. SOUND 2 words describe these earbuds. Bass and clarity. The bass on these is very abundant, but not muddy in anyway. When a song from Imagine Dragons came on, I was very surprised and the amount of bass these things put out. I love a moderate amount of bass, but not a ton and these things do it for me. If you don't like bass at all, or just want a little amount of bass, don't get these. The clarity of them are very good too. I wouldn't put them on the top of what I have listened to in the past, but for earbuds they surpass the other anc earbuds I have. ANC I will come out and say the anc on these is the worst of the 4 I have. But, because I don't travel on planes or go to very loud places, it doesn't matter to me too much. If I were, I would take my sony wh-1000xm3 over ears anyway, or the airpods pro if its a short flight. Now, to get the anc to be decent, you need a good seal, just like and anc earbud. the comply medium tips these come with outperform the silicone for anc, as in make the anc work better. Though, I wouldn't go with comply. I have found that the AZLA SednaEarfit XELASTEC tips work just as well or better than the comply to isolate sound. i would highly recommending getting some if your considering using the razer hammerhead wireless pros. The ambient mode is also ok. It doesn't really enhance outside sounds so you can hear better, but it gets the job done. You'll be able to hear someone talking to you with it on, but with music on you still probably won't be able to hear a lot. BUILD I'll review the actual earbuds and the case as well. The earbuds are big. bigger than the airpods pro for sure. The stem is probably the feature than most people will not like, but from my experiance it doesnt get in the way. You will probably need to hold the earbud from the stem as well when you take it out to stop the music(get to that later) as holding it from the head of the earbud will not automatically turn your music off if your finger is on the microphone/sensor. the back of the earbud has a razer logo, and this is where the touch sensor is located. the tip of the earbud is angeled so it goes into your ear better. Now the case if where I think they did a better job. One thing I can fault sony for is the size of there charging cases, cause they are huge in comparison. the razer charging case is very similar to the airpods pro, which is actually a good point. Its small, can fit in the pocket well, and the finish of it is ok. it not as plasticky as the airpods pro, but the only texture if from the matte finish on it. I've heard people say that it slips out of there hands, but that has never happened to me at all. I actually quite like the matte finish on it. There's a green light on the front that will turn to orange when its low on battery(not sure the exact percentage, as it only happened once to me) and the bottom is where you'll charge it with a usb c cable(thank you razer, micro b sucks). Unfortunately it doesn't support wireless charging, but its not a problem for me when I don't have many things that support it anyway. My only real gripe is the the earbuds can take a second or 2 to get out of the case. Its not bad, but to get a grip on them is a little inconvenient. TOUCH & OTHER FEATURES The touch controls aren't great, but not the worst i've used. The really great thing is the customizability in the app for the touch controls. You can assign any function to either earbud to any touch action. You want play/pause just on your right earbud with 1 tap? You can do that. You want to assign anc switching(anc on, off, and ambient) to just the left earbud with 1 tap? you can do that. This is where most other earbuds fail(maybe not fail, but these just do it better). The app is also necessary for firmware updates, and it also has its own eq presets and manual eq. The actual touch sensors aren't great. I sometimes have trouble for the 1 tap play/pause to work. not all the time, but enough to make me notice its a potential problem. switching between anc on, off and ambient is done by holding the sensor for 2 second(unless you change that), and that works perfectly. I wish you could take the anc off option off though, as I only use anc on or ambient. I also wish there was a quick attention mode on these like the sony's where you hold the sensor to quickly hear ambient mode and make the music quieter so long as your hold it. The retail box it comes in say it has quick attention, but it only means ambient mode. Razer, let me tell you this. Its not called quick attention if you have to change to it. Sony has it for there wh and wf series where you place your hand on the sensor for a moment of ambience, but doesn't switch to ambient where you have to change back to anc. I love this feature on the sony's, and more anc earbuds should incorporate this. BATTERY The case is said to have a extra 20 hours of charging for the earbuds, have not tested this as I am a compulsive charging guy, but i have no reason to think that it doesn't. The earbuds with anc on will last you about 4.5 to 5.5 hours. not great, but definitely the worst. After about 30-40 minutes, my earbuds were down to 88-89%, which is in line with that battery life. Not enough for a long flight, but the anc doesn't really warrant taking them on a place anyway. OVERALL I really can recommend these earbuds. even for the $200 price tag, they're pretty good. Now with the sony's and airpods pro around this range, would i recommend these over those. The sony's yes, even with razer not having the quick attention feature. Now with the airpods pro, the one question that you need to ask yourself is do you need the best anc, or is decent fine for you. Also should ask yourself of you have trouble with earbud fitting in your ears. The airpods pro fall out of my ear alot, so much that I had to get a silicone cover and AZLA SednaEarfit XELASTEC tips just to keep them in my ears. These don't fall out at all. So if you care more about anc and the airpods don't fall out all the time, get the airpods pros. If you want great sound, ok anc, and great customizability, then I recommend these. I'm someone who owns over 20 pairs of earphones and headphones, I always put these in my ears at the end of the day. Again, I highly recommend getting some AZLA SednaEarfit XELASTEC tips with these instead of the comply's.

Great for $50
I’ve had ~$250+ Bose, ~$200 Sennheiser, random cheap crap, and these. I’m not massively versed on every option, but I know a few. I’d say the Bose were the best. The random crap is the worst…. but I’d actually place these between the Sennheiser and the Bose. The Bose were flawless and lasted me well beyond my Geek Squad protection plan before the batteries lost their ability to hold juice. The Sennheiser were trash, not even counting the fact that I wasn’t a huge fan of their sound profile… which was very tinny… the connection wasn’t great, and there was this thing with them where they’d connect to the Bluetooth in the case and rapidly drain all the batteries which was insanely annoying when I needed/wanted to use them. I like the sound profile on these better than the Sennheiser - if you’re looking at Razer, you probably know, though the smaller speakers are a bit tinnier/crunchier than you might be used to, they aren’t bad. Gaming mode seems ok, and, roughly a week in they are mostly devoid of issues - though, I can’t tell you if they’d outlast a hypothetical protection plan that I don’t have on them. Problems - 1.) The rubber/silicone/whatever sleeves doesn’t always like to stay on. 2.) Weirdly, when I pull the right earbud out (strangely always first) and put it in the case, the left starts playing again. This hasn’t seemed to cause any problems, though. 3.) Minor gripe: It isn’t rgb, it’s just g. Still pretty cool, though, and I hope the v3, if there is one, improves on the v2 improvements while having true Razer rgb (absent on the v2). 4.) No variation on the theme of Transparent hearing, which can be a nice touch once you’ve had it. I finally got around to playing with the EQ in the app, and it improved the sound quite a bit. It’s a bit harsher now, as I brought the mids out (basically I turned everything up a bit), but it is an improvement. They still aren’t perfect, but they are good for $50.

Great...Maybe a little too much bass
it took a while for my ears to get use to in-ear buds again, I have been using headphones for years until I broke my Klipsch reference headphones. I decided to pick these up for the convenience of single ear listening, ambience listening and the auto pause. I know other ear buds have this issue but some of the others I've tried from raycon, samsung, google, and other brands I've never heard before didn't sound good. They were designed to just sit in the ear not actually make a seal and provide the in-ear sound. I'm going to break this up in parts: Sound: They sound amazing, this is probably the first razer audio products to bring full clarity to music. Just for reference I listen to heavy metal. I prefer to keep the EQ on flat because their is a distinct difference between the subgenres like black metal, power, thrash, death and I don't want to have to constantly change the EQ per band, per album (production varies as well) and per song. However, the bass on these things were insane for me, I had to adjust the flat EQ to lower everything sub 80hz. I mean these things could rattle your glasses. After dropping the bass a bit, the Mids came to life and the sound is a phenom. function: I like that the touch delay is intentional. I'm old school, I've only ever used reference headphones, klipsch, AKG, Sony, etc. So this is fairly new to me and I like that delay. it allows me to adjust the buds without pausing the music or skipping a track. Battery: Honestly. They last me all day, I listen to them mainly at work. When I'm home I have my headphones, so in a good 8-10 hours with pauses here and there the batteries last. They're rated for 4 hours and the case is 20, and I haven't had to put them in the case at all. Granted this is just me, I pause music for phone calls (lanline phone) or conversations, meetings, etc. so they do go to sleep often to preserve that battery life. Comfort: I like they come with different style tips. Like I said it took a few days for my ears to get use to having something shoved into them but after that it was fine. The auto-pause / play helps if I have to take one out and adjust it. App: this is probably the Achilles heel. It takes a while to see the ear buds so changing settings you'll have to sit and wait. The first day I got the ear buds they worked for a few hours then the app stopped and wouldn't search for them. After getting zero help from reddit, forums, or even razer I sat and played with my phones settings. Turned out that google play services was the culprit and even rebooting the phone or shutting it down didn't help. I had to clear the cache for google play services, then it started working and I haven't had an issue. Overall: 4 out of 5, I'd rather have overpowered bass and tune it than lackluster bass. The app makes me worry sometimes, I can only see these getting better with more firmware updates.

Absolutely awesome
I wasn't really sure what to expect from Razer when it came to earbuds. I've currently got the Kraken Ultimate and love it, but my experience with Razer is still extremely new. I watched a few reviews online and decided to try them out, as Amazon is pretty damn good with returns if you find something wrong with the product...as I did with the Sony Noise Canceling earbuds I had bought prior. They just wouldn't stay in my damn ears at all...and kept cutting in and out. Regardless, I bought these and the Hammerhead Quartz for my girlfriend, I really wish the Pros came in the pink...because I would have gotten her these instead. She really wanted pink. It's not that the base Hammerheads are bad, but the noise canceling would have helped her with a painful hearing issue she has. Either way, I'll have a review up for those too...which isn't quite as glowing, but still good. Anyway, I was extremely shocked by how good these are. While the Left earbud doesn't fit quite as well (I'm judging that based upon my intensive work rather than casual listening while out and about) as the Right, they both fit much better than the Sony buds...and seem to have comparable noise canceling. Furthermore, the Razer app is leaps ahead of what I experienced with Sony...something I like, a lot. The sound quality is great, and there's options to tweak everything via the app, rebind controls, etc...pairing worked perfectly fine, it doesn't seem to be cutting in and out, the volume is great, the charging case is very nice...they're just really great buds overall. The battery life isn't quite as long as I'd hope for and the noise cancelation isn't going to separate you entirely from the outside world...but, overall, I am overwhelmingly pleased with the buds. That said, I've been musing over a design for earbuds that are more likely to stay in the damn ear that I want to pitch to Razer sometime...an unorthodox design, no doubt...but fun, which they seem to go for.

You need to try these
Okay. Let me start out by saying im no audiophile. What i have been searching for in a pair of buds is power, bass, noise cancelling, comfort, decent sound, and for them to get loud. These deliver on all fronts. Let me tell you which earbuds i have tried over the last several years that i either kept, returned, or broke. Sony wxm3s, powerbeats pros, soundpetes h1s, jabra 85ts, airpod pros, jbls, bose quiet comfort, skull candy crushers, soundcore/anker headphones, and pry more that ive missed. These sound better and have more pronunced bass then all of these (the sound app with enhanced bass is what bassheads need so great) Powerbeats come close or equal but i dont like the over ear design. And many of these like the soundcore liberty/sony wxms have good bass and great sound but they dont get LOUD enough. These do. Im telling you, try these. They are also just as comfortable or close to airpod pros (airpod pros are the most comfortable headphones ive tested these come close). The noise cancelling i havent tested much, it seems good enough. The only issue i have is these are pry not ideal for daily call use/meetings. My wife said it sounded like i was really far away when speaking to her. These headphones rock guys try them

These headphones are great
I was in the market looking for some good quality wireless earbuds and I came across these while looking around. All decent wireless earbuds come in at this price point and beyond, but I wanted to keep it at the minimum. Turns out these earbuds are better than all of its competitors in this price point. They sound great, lots of earbud tips to choose from so there will definitely be something for you, and they look slick. Only downside is the lower battery life but it really is a non-issue for when I use them at the gym. The noise-cancellation really takes everything away from around you and lets you get into your own bubble which is so so nice. The only complaint I would have I guess is even when ambient mode is on, it's still hard to hear the people around you. But the for the sake of listening to music and whatnot, this is really an overall plus. Would recommend to anyone out there looking for some new premium wireless earbuds!
