All Clad Quality
So... Most folks would say your are nuts for spending the amount of money that All Clad charges for just one pot or pan. But then, these are also the folks who will spend $99 for a set of 10 pots and pans at a discount store and then end up replacing them often. They'll also complain because their food with cook unevenly, burn, the pans will warp, the handles become loose... well, you get the picture. When you buy All Clad, you are buying for life. Really! All Clad pots and pans have a lifetime warranty. Cook with them once and you'll wonder why you used anything else.Ina Garten said that she herself uses All Clad pots and pans and Wusthof knives. She noted they are expensive, but they really are a one-time purchase that lasts a lifetime. Even she suggested you can start small and add to your collection as your budget and needs allow. That's what I did and I have no regrets. All Clad heats evenly, is very solidly constructed and remember... If you ever have a problem, if anything fails, All Clad replaces it for you, for free, no questions asked. Who wouldn't like that? You cannot go wrong with an All Clad purchase. The stainless steel is dishwasher safe, cleans up easily and cooks like a dream. There is a reason this cookware is used in professional and high-end kitchens.Don't buy the cheap stuff any longer... Make the investment in quality. You'll be glad you did!

D5 Cookware
Just wanted to let everyone know that I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars on All Clad cookware over the years and I am extremely experienced in the kitchen so I have a good working knowledge of how to properly cook on all different surfaces as well as wash and store each of my pieces. I purchased a D5 pan and the thing is crap!! I have never had any issues with any of the other All Clad line (I generally purchase the professional grade pieces) but this thing was god awful. My sister has the same pan and had the same issues. The non-stick is just terrible and unless you put a ton of oil or butter in the pan you would never know the thing was supposed to be non-stick. I attempted to rectify the situation by contacting All Clad and they essentially told me that I was misusing the pan and that it was my fault not a manufacturer defect. When I responded about how frustrated I was they wouldn't help me, the answer I got back was "well we are sorry that you are disappointed and I will forward your concern to the appropriate department." Dissatisfied with that answer I called customer service. I spoke with Martha who apparently is a supervisor there and essentially told me the same thing. She also told me that the pans aren't "designed to last forever". I told her that was utter crap and that for the amount of money they charge for their products they should stand by them. I also told her that I have done a fair amount of research on the D5 line and everyone has the same complaint. She informed me that All Clad does not read customer reviews and I told her maybe they should start. I thanked her for her time, told her I will never purchase another All Clad product ever again, and promptly hung up. I would caution anyone thinking about buying any products from All Clad as their customer service SUCKS and their D5 pans are the worst!!!!

Lid on pot is not safe
I recently purchased an All-Clad cookware pot because our Revere Ware pot handle broke after 30 years of daily use. Because Revere Ware went out of business, we were unable to replace like with like. So I searched around for a 'high-quality' brand. All Clad was recommended by our local kitchenware store. The pot was on sale, but nevertheless, quite expensive. The first time we used it, we realized we were not entirely happy with this brand. The handle on the pot lid is stainless steel and gets VERY hot. You HAVE TO use an oven mitt to remove the lid or you will be burned badly. I called the company to express our dissatisfaction with the product. The Customer service rep's response: You have to use an oven mitt or you will be burned and this is not covered by warranty. Hmmmm. I am writing this review to let folks know of this before you purchase All-Clad cookware.

All clad pots will not stack correctly.
So, I ended up purchasing the single pots because the 10pc set failed to have the pots I needed. This cookware is all over recommended by the chefs. I'm cooking at home and so I need things that work well. In my kitchen I need the pots to stack inside each other and all clad cookware does not. The 2 qt sauce pan is too deep and narrow for practical cooking. The handles on these pots are straight out and awkward to use , unless of course you are extra tall. The pots are attractive and cook well thus far. Best of luck to all in your search.

Nice pans
We enjoy using our new pans. They are taking a little to get used to like not starting off cooking on High and the eggs stick to the pan no matter how much butter you use.

Outstanding cookware
This cookware is beautiful, cooks insanely evenly, and is very easy to clean up. Just like the instructions say, if you want to get it gleaming, use Barkeeper's Friend. The handles do stay quite cool; but, use a pot holder when lifting the lids!! It is the last cookware you will ever need, and it looks like it will last for many, many generations. The 14-piece set includes some really large pieces that are sure to satisfy almost any sort of exotic culinary needs you might have in the future. You might also take a look at getting the steamer insert, double boiler, 4 qt saucepan with loop (3 qt lid fits this too, so does steamer), possibly some smaller pieces like a little fry pan/saucier pan/butter melter, and of course the giant soup pot/steamer/pasta cooker. I might also add their 6 piece kitchen utility set is extremely nice, and compliments this cookware well.It came packed extremely well.
