Korg, 76-Key Professional Arranger (PA4X76)

This is an amazing instrument that is far more than a keyboard. It's like playing an organ: you don't just play the keys. You interact with this instrument through its styles, accompaniment, keyboard assignments, recordings, vocal processing, etc. Plus, the sound is amazing.

Somewhat disappointed in this Korg. Don't get me wrong - sound-wise, it's flat out amazing! If I were rating on the sound quality alone? 5++ stars. My issue is the build quality/hardware. After 2 months of use, one of the keys went dead. Got it fixed, under warranty, no problem. Now, the volume pot is shot and needs replacement. Not under warranty anymore. Yet to see how much this will cost be to get fixed......not to mention the inconvenience. I'm kinda disappointed because over the years I've really come to rely on the quality of Korg's products. Since the early 80's I've owned numerous Korgs (starting with the old DW8000) and NEVER had an issue with any of them (I still have that DW8000, and it's STILL working). Hopefull that this will be the end of the hardware issues for now.
