Doesn’t work miracles but I found it very relaxing indeed
This is a blanket weighted with glass beads - I got an 11kg one as you’re meant to aim for around 10% of your weight. This is I think so-called “queen size”. The idea of these blankets is that for some specific groups of people (including but not limited to those on the autistic spectrum or who have cPTSD) may find the gripping/squeezing sensation all over the body to be somewhat relaxing or will at least counter-act feelings of anxiety. It’s not a miracle in a box, it won’t make everyone feel like they’ve taken 6 Valium but for those of us in that specific group, it may have some effect.I felt immediately like I’d just been hugged - the endorphin-y sensation. After a while I forgot about how heavy it was until I tried to move it and got a surprise! I certainly found it generally very relaxing and soothing but they are not for everyone and they are not some kind of miracle sleep-aid.

Get one thats warm to the touch
Im 6'2 and 17 and a half stone, its far far to heavy..cant be bothered to use it now ..its cold to the touch ..GET THE SINGLE ONE ..

Absolute life ruiner. Destroyer of productivity. 10/10, would highly recommend. This is based off 60seconds of laying under it and not wanting to get back up. Oh hell.

Be careful which weight you choose but a nice product for the price
Been looking at a weighted blanket for a while took the plunge and brought this I didn’t realise how heavy it was needed partner to help lift it onto the bed it does take a lot of getting use to partner really likes the feeling of the heavy weight it’ll take me a big longer to get use to it I’m happy I invested in the blanket hopefully it might help with my insomnia
