Excellent product. I was sceptical as I have seen similar items. This one is very well designed and works really well. Arrived yesterday, simple instructions so today I cleaned two chains on our electric bikes. Very easy to use and cleaned the chains really well. What impressed me most is the thought that has gone into this product. It even has a little magnet at the bottom of the well to attract metal particles and stop them circulating. Although the plastic looks cheap it fits together well and seems robust. I like the fact that spare parts are available. It was also very easy to clean after use. Yes you could use a brush to get the same result, but this is far quicker and reduces drastically the splashes you always get when chain cleaning.

This Park Tool does a pretty decent job of cleaning a bike chain in situ on the bike. I use a dedicated degreaser and wash off once the chain appears clean. It cannot give the chain a deep clean, but for ease of use it works really well.

Good little starter kit. The cleaner itself is easy to use and feels secure with two metel clips to keep it closed in operation. Easy to fill with fluid from the two holes on the top. The cleaning process is straightforward and results on a very dirty chain required a second application and this exhausted the supply of fluid. The brush is very handy to get into crevices and is nice and stiff plastic. Overall I am happy with this purchase.

One of the reviewers of another chain cleaner suggested that spending the few extra pounds to get this one over the cheaper alternatives was a wise investment, and I'd echo that - this isn't the cheapest, but do I have confidence it'll still be doing its job for years to come. Also, my chain is looking very good!!

Never cleaned a bike chain before. But having an expensive e bike now thought i better look after it. And this chain cleaner did an amazing job. Didn't realise just how dirty the chain had got in only a few months but now it's like new again. And feels so much better changing gears mow.

Very good chain cleaner. The tool itself is very easy to use and the chain cleaner solution that comes with it (and the tool of course) did a brilliant job at cleaning my chain. Very good product.

I used it today for the 1st time; a 3 bike maintenance. The kit offers reasonable value; the brush/scraper is really needed to get into the cassette and derailleur, the degreaser gets you started. I watched videos, so it was pretty easy to use. My chain jumped a couple of times, but I got the hang of it pretty quick. I wouldn't say the chains were spotless afterwards, but they were significantly cleaner than before. I have never cleaned a chain before, so I guess more regular cleaning will bring things much cleaner. The unit and brushes look very robust. Just don't store the unit with the latches closed, as I've seen reports that the plastic fatigues around the latch hinge. I was worried that cleaning the unit would be hard, but I think the combination of degreaser, then washing up liquid, keeps the oil easy to clean away. That and the fact the brushes are all removeable. You just drop in a bit of washing up liquid, stick your finger in and hey presto. At first I had trouble cleaning the bottom sump, but then I removed the magnet and everything fell away. So that just goes to show that the magnet does its job. The degreaser that came with the kit lasted exactly the 3 bikes (including some for scrubbing cogs & derailleurs). So I already ordered 5l of decent value bike degreaser.

Prima product doet zijn werk maar eigenlijk niet nodig omdat heel goed met een doekje kan.

Es de buena calidad y muy fácil de usar. La cadena queda muy limpia. Aunque su precio es algo elevado comparando con otros, lo recomiendo. Ya que otras alternativas mas económicas no aportan el mismo resultado y se deterioran más rápidamente.
