This hammer is a great size and weight for any job needing a hammer. I am a temp at a truss factory, and this thing does everything I need it to and I dont have to worry about it breaking. Besides, even if I really end up doing some serious damage to this thing, it comes with the manufacturer lifetime limited warranty that will for sure replace any defects or problems with the hammer. I got the one that also comes with the little rubber cap thingy, and its great for hammering softer materials without damaging it. I would buy another one if I needed it, and I would recommend to a friend. Great product.

This is a well build, nicely balanced, can-do-the-job Framing Hammer. Only gave it 3-stars in the "lightweight" department because it is a Framing Hammer and isn't supposed to be light. What it is, is well balanced. You can really maximize you swing with this one! Also has a nice magnetized notch to place a starter nail in -- no more needing to hold the nail and worry about smashed fingers or leveled board moving while you start the nail. The additional soft face mallet attachment is great to convert this hammer into a heavy duty chisel mallet!Very happy with this product. Would buy this again and will look into other products this company makes. US made and donates 3% sales to Veterans. A business I can support!

This hammer is fantastic. It's worth a $60 price tag for the 22oz version. The thin neck makes it easy to carry in the hand around a worksite and the curve under the head of it is comfortable resting on your finger when doing so. You can easy hold the neck of the hammer in hand while carrying a ladder. It swings like a 16oz hammer just an absolute breeze. The flat claw is wonderful for pulling nails and other things out of tight spaces. I worked with a guy who'd been doing construction for 40 years and he bought one after the first day of using mine. The mallet cap is really helpful for tapping framing into place to be flush and not leaving a big mark. Love it.

It is heavier than I thought it would be. So that's the only reason I didn't get that five stars. Maybe I'm being unfair because in order to do everything it says it does maybe it has to be that heavy. I don't know I just know that it's a lot heavier than I thought it would be. But I think it's a robust and very good hammer
