This is an exceptional premium performance filter.
Stated simply, this is an exceptional premium performance filter. I have extensive training and experience servicing BMWs and can state with confidence that this filter is amongst the best you can use for the intended/specified BMW engines. Any reference to crushed filters or failing O-rings is the result of improper installation. Specifically, do not overtighten the oil cap, the spec is 18 ft lbs., go over/fail to use a torque wrench and the filter is very likely to “crush.” The O-ring “failure” I saw in one review clearly shows that the ring was not installed in the O-ring channel, rather on the top thread where it would be destroyed immediately upon installation. Bottomline, this is a great filter that will perform perfectly when installed correctly. I just want my fellow BMW enthusiast to enjoy their cars, take a moment to verify the correct installation procedure and you wont be disappointed with this filter.

Can’t complain. It’s k&n and it works
K&N filter. No issues Did what it was supposed to do which is filter the oil. Perfect fit for my year and model. Came with o rings and gasket depending what model vehicle you are using. Decent price.

K&N did it again, quality is pretty decent, definitely above oem, and performs better than oem, fit correctly for my 2007 BMW 335 pretty decent value.
