Annie’s Organic Original Crispy Snack Bars are one of those rare kid-friendly snacks that also make parents feel good about what’s in the wrapper. The texture is the highlight: light and crispy (made with rice and quinoa crisps) with a sweet, gooey bind that holds together without being sticky-messy. The flavor is classic “crispy treat” but noticeably less artificial tasting than many similar bars. I also appreciate that they’re certified organic, gluten-free, and gelatin-free, and they skip high-fructose corn syrup and artificial flavors/colors—so they’re an easy yes for lunchboxes, car rides, or a quick post-practice snack. At 80 calories per bar, they’re a solid “small treat” portion (not a meal replacement), and the sweetness is real—so I treat them like a dessert-style snack rather than an everyday staple.

They didn’t taste great, and they took forever to come in.

This is a very sweet treat but it tastes good and my child loves it, but because it is so sweet, I don't allow him to have much of it.
