I recently picked up learning how to manicure and was told to buy a silicone hand because the fingers would fall off of the plastic hands quickly. I did that and spent a lot of money, but the replacement tips got too expensive so I decided to buy one of the plastic hands and give it a try. I actually prefer the plastic hand because of the way the fingers bend (like a human vs being stiff) and the replacement tips are way cheaper. My experience with this has been good. My only negative is the tips themselves sometimes fall out when hand filing so I have to hold the base of the tip down. I’d still give the hand 5 stars compared to the silicone hand because of the bendability and cost to replace tips.

So far I've had no issues with this practice hand. I must admit, reading those negative reviews had me indecisive, but i don't regret taking the chance and purchasing it anyways. It is quite durable with proper care of course. It does scratch a bit due to filing and the knuckles also get looser with frequent use but thats expected its only $20.. My Tips: 1. To prevent the tips from popping off, It's all about your finger placement. Make sure that you are placing your finger and holding the silicon tip as well as the nail bed down when filing acrylic tips etc. 2. If you have to rotate the hand, make sure you do so gently. 3. Ensure that the desk you attach the hand is steady and doesn't shake or move. 4. After using ensure to dust off and properly wipe down the hand To avoid the Nails from sticking due to the dust from filing.

This is a wonderful tool for beginner nail techs AND nail enthusiasts. It's both for serious business AND fun. A bonus is the fact that you don't have to subject your own hands to the prolonged use of UV light.

I loved this hand! It is perfect for beginners, and the piece that you are able to connect to a table for extra sturdiness was awesome. I especially liked that it included extra nail tips, and how easy it is to put the nail tips in the hand. Unfortunately some of the nails do come out sometimes during practice which can be bad while doing a set. My only big complaint is that the hand completely fell off the handle during use! A screw came out, and I was not able to fix it. Waiting for a replacement, but I did like this hand as a beginner!

i’m a little bummed because i was excited to use this to practice my nails but the thumb came broken i guess ill just use the 4 other fingers just sad that it was broken it just popped off when i grabbed the thumb

This is amazing! I love that all the nails are the same size but the thumb. It's so easy to swap them out. And cleanup is a breeze! 10/10

No tienes con quien practicar. Es ideal esta mano por que no necesitas estar atrás de alguien para que puedas practicar tus uñas. No nena pídete tu mano, súper cómoda se adapta a cualquier espacio. Trae muchísimas uña de remplazo para practicar y diseñar lo que quieras
